Fully refurbished during 2008, historic property, maintaining its original period facade. Upon entering you will see the interior has been tastefully welcomed into the 21st century. Placed in the little village of Tremadog, with its choice of two pubs, and a very nice restaurant 'the square' this cottage was built 200 years ago by the men who came over from Ireland to work on the building of the cob for William Maddocks which reclaimed land from the sea for the building of Porthmadog. Stayed Aug 21, 2024Tremadog is a beautiful little village with the cottage located next to the square with 2 pubs, a cafe, a convenience store and a fish and chip shop. The village is a 20 min walk into the beautiful town of Porthmadog that has several large supermarkets. Would definitely stay here again
