The property is on a quiet street in the town, we never had an issue with on street parking (April). The rooms were decorated lovely and were very spacious. A hanging rail in both the double rooms would be better as there is no where really to hang any clothes. The kitchen was well equipped with all you could need, although we mostly ate out. The lounge is a lovely space and has a selection of books and games to keep you entertained as well as a large TV. The back garden space was wonderful, especially after the long car journey. We found the property met all our needs and we would return. The only issues were the doors, as they're original period doors they don't shut very well and the handles are a little iffy, the twin room the handle fell off and my daughter was concerned she could be stuck in there! And then we had an issue with the heating going off, so no hot hater or heat, as this was a Saturday the contact number is for an office that is only manned during office hours. We were without hot water and heat, this is obviously a boiler issue that needs attention. They need to find a company that cover out of hours also! That issue aside we loved the property and would return for our next stay. But would suggest an addition of a shoe rack near the front door, we had a lot of muddy, wet shoes and a shoe rack would be great.
