We had such peaceful stay here, and absolutely fell in love with the Lake Montezuma area! From the gracious hosts to the amazing decor in the cabin to the massive dark sky at night, our stay here was a magical time. We'd love to come back one day!

Overall a great 6day trip. Gravel drive way is good for cars and trucks, not great for full size motorcycles. It's up hill with a tight 90 degree turn. The place is small and cute. kitchette is minimal with small counter, little fridge, microwave, toater oven, toaster and 2 place electric hotplate. small sink is shared by the bathroom in the transistion hallway. Bathroom had a good size stall shower and plenty of hot water. we enjoyed the seating outside overlooking the valley. Most of the day was spent out doing local stuff. Hiking, site seeing and riding the paved roads. There is no grocery Store close. Family dollar was a decent substitute for basic stuff. they have a smart TV and access to all the app. Hiking was great - 4miles around 2 rock formations above oak creek village and around slide rock in oak creek canyon. rode close to 500 miles on the scenic roads in the area. Recommend 89a from flagstaff to prescot. breakfast in flagstaff at Mike and rhoda's the place to start. they close at 2pm. we had lunch in Jerome at Haunted Hamber. a few other options for lunch. Cool history. we did the verde canyon rail road trip. 4hrs with lunch and a small dish of cheese, meat, crackers, fruit and brownie. check the weather - there is outside open areas but may be hot or cold depending. . Only recommendtaion would be more towels. 2 full size per person would have been better. they may have been there, but i didnt see any more. I did not ask so there may have been more.

A quaint property atop of a hill with a vast view of the flatlands before the mountain ranges. The neighborhood is very remote, 30 minutes from Sedona. The cottage has all of the typical studio rental amenities like cooking supplies, sitting area, and towels, plus they had a portable bathroom heater, chairs in the garden facing the sunset, and a great from porch. The hosts were especially friendly and thoughtful. The property vibe was safe, serene, and warm.

We had a lovely time staying at the cottage and using it as a base for exploring the Sedona area and other nearby towns. The hosts were helpful and kind, and the cottage itself is quaint and warm. Highly recommend!

The cottage was absolutely perfect, and the panoramic view of mountains and the sunrise/sunset were even better. Super cozy sleeping/living quarters. Lake Montezuma is very quiet and has even less light pollution than Sedona. We stayed here and drove 30 minutes to Sedona to hike and explore, we will definitely be coming back to this spot when we're back in the area. Hosts were fantastic.

We used this as our base while visiting Arizona. Quite a small cottage, but we were not there to hang out inside. And for the price, it was everything we needed. The hosts were in communication to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is well maintained and peaceful. We highly recommend Hilltop Haven properties!
