Heart of Amish Country - Paradise Cottage

The property was lovely and was equipped with everything anyone might need or want. We even had chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived.

The property is clean, comfy and well maintained. We enjoyed relaxing on the nice deck. It had everything you would need. Communication with the owner was great. The delicious scones and snacks were a nice added touch. It is on a busy road, but still in a quiet neighborhood.

The home was very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. Location was great. Would recommend this place to stay while visiting PA.

A very comfortable place to lay our heads after a busy week of traveling and very good location. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the well thought out home.

The place was very peaceful, welcoming, hospitable, clean and fully equipped with everything a family would need to enjoy the beauty of the country. The only constructive costumer feedback I have is that the price point was higher than originally posted for four guests, but the posting stated it can house six people. We were under the impression that the original posted price would be for up to six people, but we were charged extra when we indicated four people were in the booking.

The whole house was spotless. The kitchen had all necessary supplies plus items that you typically do not find. There was more than enough towels/washcloths. The bed was so comfortable.

We loved the Paradise cottage! It was so clean, well equipped with everything you could ever need, snacks and coffee and even delicious homemade cookies. We all agreed the beds were so comfortable. Our communication with Ruth Ann was great. There was nothing I would change. Thank you Ruth Ann for making our girls weekend in Lancaster such a memorable one.

Exceptionally clean and well furnished. I do wish we'd known prior that there's no TV (it's World Series time). But we made do with wifi and devices. Overall, fabulous place. Very comfy.

The home was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The personal touches Ruthann did around the house were perfect. It was nice to have snacks, tea and coffee available for us. There also were cupcakes too. At first we were disappointed there wasn’t a TV but it also allowed us to talk more. I would stay here again.

The house and landscaping were very neat and clean. Well stocked kitchen with a variety of snacks. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Could have used some grab bars in the showers. Very nice deck area. Nice neighborhood, but on a very busy road with lots of truck traffic. Convenient location to Sights and Sounds Theater and Strasburg Railroad.

Excellent, this place was completely stocked of everything we needed. And was a great location to everywhere we wanted to visit. Will definitely be back. The hostess was very pleasant to deal with.

Very nice and clean property. All on 1 floor so easy access. Only issue is safe parking area. Lots of traffic by house which makes pulling in and out of difficult.

RuthAnn's home was the perfect retreat at the end of a day of fabric shopping for my friend and I. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. The back deck was the perfect place to discuss our fabric purchases, look over patterns, talk about the day and make plans for the next. We hope to return to Paradise Cottage next year!

The paradise College three bedroom very, very clean. The hospitality of Ruth was awesome. The location beside the road was a little iffy. Traffic was heavy. The location was excellent to any area you wanted to go to. I would not hesitate to recommend us to anybody in the United States? Thank you very much. Hopefully we will see you again

A wonderful and comfortable home. The picture window gave us views of the beautiful horse and buggies passing by. The location was perfect for our visit to Sight & Sound Theatre as well as to to wolf sanctuary and trip into the town of Lititz and dinner on the train. So much to do and enjoy.

Great house! Good size rooms, beautiful bathrooms, nice wrap around deck, everything was very clean, and there are thoughtful touches throughout. We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was lovely and so well appointed. The freshly baked cookies were a wonderful treat. All the communication with RuthAnn was great. There's no TV, but that didn't bother us. We played a few hands of cards and had some nice family time.

My friends and I stayed here for one night while visiting a friend in the area. The location is great as it is close to many small towns with things to do and places to see. The house was exceptionally clean, organized, and well stocked. Parking was a little tricky as the house sits close to the road on a hillside, but there was plenty of room to park our SUV and take our luggage in and out of the house. I would highly recommend this home for your next vacation or get-away.

What an incredibly lovely place with so many comfortable furnishings and special treats. Listen for the clip clop of the Amish buggies that frequent the road just outside the front door or watch the serene beauty of the sunrise on the back porch. Close to the city but far enough away to enjoy the countryside. I would have stayed longer if it was possible and will definitely look forward to going back.

Very good communication with the owner. Great perks..coffee, fresh bakery sweet rolls and candy jar! Best goodies that have ever been supplied in a rental house. Super clean. On a fairly busy road but was fine if carful.

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our visit. Very clean and spacious, with all of the amenities of home.
