Golden Oak Cottage Hocking Hills

Quite private location for a girls weekend. The home was clean and comfortable. Even the smallest amenities were amazing. Wonderful all the way around!!

We absolutely LOVED the porch and the hot tub! After multiple long vigorous hikes throught the state park, it was so nice to come back and just relax. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 to stretch out. It was very clean and cozy. The wifi was great, since cell service is very limited. There are 3 different smart tvs, including one on the porch, which was great for jamming out to music while grilling burgers. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the porch set up. We spent most of our time there, when we were not hiking.

It was the perfect cabin for us. Everything was there that the owner said. Hot tub was perfect. Perfect spot for all the caves and waterfalls. Only a couple miles away. Definitely stay there again.

Spotlessly clean. Good location. It is a remolded camping trailer with additional rooms built on, has a great covered deck with large tv, good gas grill and hot tub

This was a great place to stay while in Hocking Hills! This was my second time staying here and will definitely book it again in a heartbeat. The hot tub is very clean, on a covered porch and has an outdoor tv right near it. The inside is also very clean and spacious with two bedrooms and has access to WiFi if needed. Our host was nice and quickly answered any questions that we had during our stay.

We had a great stay in the cozy Golden Oak Cottage. It was great being on the top of the hill for scenery and the time of year was great for seeing the autumn leaves in their glory. The hot tub and outdoor television was a nice amenity we enjoyed every night. The cottage was prepared well and was very clean. We were delighted to see the journal of everyone who stayed saying how fantastic their stay was, it made us feel very fortunate staying there and very at ease that everything would be top-tier from the beginning. Our host Tara was easy to communicate with about any questions we had throughout our trip. We highly recommend staying here!

The outside area was very cozy feeling, having a hot tub after hiking was greatly appreciated.

Loved everything about the porch! Hot tub was AWESOME, loved the outdoor ceiling fans and TV even though we didn't use it.

The place is perfect for a quick 3 day getaway to the Hocking Hills park. The yard with a dog is somewhat small. The porch and hot tub are great

The Che k in and out was flawless and the place was very clean. One of the best things about this cabin was its seclusion. The owner was very accommodating on everything, even when I had to ask for a possible late check out because on our last day there we had lost our car keys on a hike And weren’t sure at that point how exactly we were going to get a replacement key being all the dealership were closed till Monday. Turns out we found a 24 hr mobile locksmith and we were able to Che k out on time . But his ability to work with us was very much appreciated. It’s will worth the cost

The cabin was what I was looking for, somewhat isolated and quiet. Biggest issue is the wifi signal doesn’t reach the porch. Needs a booster/extender.

Place was great a little smaller then in pictures also WiFi was not working in some spots on the property.

Spent a long weekend celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The cabin was very clean and property well maintained. Hot tub was hot and not overly chemically. Thanks for the great stay.

No green space outside cabin for dogs. Dead roach also in cabin.

A weekend stay to view the leaves and hike at nearby Hocking Hills State Park. The location was fantastic -- easy to access, paved driveway, great access to the park & trails. The property was small, but listed as such. The spaces were nicely appointed and we especially enjoyed the outdoor entertaining area: the hot tub was such a nice bonus, plus the TV under the covered porch DJ'd music for us :) Lovely place!

Wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Golden Oak Cabin within the beautiful Hocking Hills area of Ohio. The cabin is very centrally located for getting to the main sites you’ll want to visit The cabin was great to stay in. Nice large living room. The outdoor front porch has a hot tub, table & chairs for 4 so you can eat outside if you like, a swing, BBQ and even a TV. You are definitely in the “woods” here. Would definitely stay here again We had one issue. We contacted the owner who was. VERY prompt in responding and took care of it quickly.

Clean living area. Great view other than bad weather. Good location between food and hiking

Amazing outside area!! Beds comfy! Only gripe would be to add Hulu and Netflix apps to the outside television!! We will definitely stay here many more times

Location was perfect! Just a few miles from Hocking Hills Visitor Center and all the trails. We loved the deck and spent a lot of time outside. It rained the first day we were there, but it was perfect weather otherwise. We cooked outside on the grill and ate all our meals outside. Cabin is really a camper turned into a cabin. (I originally thought mobile home or trailer house, not camper) when I saw the listing. It was still perfect for the two of us and our cocker spaniel babies.

No Kleenex No shampoo o r body soap TV Did not work properly ( channel changer and volume) in the bedroom I would tell people to bring their own beach towel for the hot tub

Birthday trip for me. Always wanted to go to Ohio and I got to hike and blown glass. Location was perfect

The owner is very nice. It was clean and comfortable. Would go back. Beautiful area.
