Directly on Suttons Bay

The house has a perfect location on the lake and is so close to great restaurants, shopping and an excellent bakery. The home was very nice and the beds were comfortable. There is plenty of room to relax in the evening inside or enjoy a cocktail on the spacious deck.

Suttons Bay is beautiful. House is cute, but the bathroom was not clean. Towels were ragged and stained. Too much furniture in primary bedroom, we had to move a chair out to get around the bed & open the windows. There was a broken chair on the deck. There was no toilet paper supply anywhere we could find and even though we did not intend to do private laundry, we were told to wash the linens before we left and there were only three pods supplied. Definately not what we hoped for.

Very nice property for a family to enjoy the day as well as a pet. Great vew of the bay to watch the sun go down nice quite road. A d just min from town of Sutton bay with all you need

Everything was what great from being clean to was finished.

The house is just as described. It had everything that we needed and was nicely decorated. The highlight was being so close to the water. The big deck made is easy to enjoy the view. Suttons Bay is chilly in June but so beautiful to look at. It was also a perfect location for shopping, sightseeing and going to restaurants. One day we walked into town and that was great (less than 2 miles). There is a door on the downstairs bathroom, so don't worry about that. The owner is quick to respond to all questions and concerns.

Enjoyed Fishtown and Traverse City. Used the fire pit in the back yard one night. Sat on the dock in chairs one night.

Such a great host. Beautiful views. We always enjoy our trip each year!

Loved this home. Floor plan and flow was great for our group with different interest. We were close enough for day trips to explore the area. At home to unwind on a deck to watch the sunset on the bay, and the reflection of the moon on the water.

This is a charming cottage right on Lake Michigan, with its own lakefront and dock. It is located on a quiet stretch of Suttons Bay. Two small bedrooms, a family room, living room, dining area, and a kitchen on the main level. The third bedroom is in a walkout basement. It is more like a suite with a sitting area, and has its own charm. We had to maintain air circulation in the downstairs area or it started to feel a little musty. There is one full bathroom upstairs but the downstairs area only has a basic, open bathroom (no shower). This may require a little coordination, although we worked it out. The large deck offers a barbecue, large table, and a great view of the Lake. We enjoyed our meals and sunsets from it. Beach and lawn toys and games, a fire pit, and plenty of lawn chairs all add to a good time. We enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding, biking, as well as excursions to nearby Suttons Bay and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Our family of four adults had a wonderful, relaxed time.

Great location and view! Clean and roomy house.

We rented the property for a long weekend and had a great time. We ended up sitting on the dock and back deck one entire afternoon just enjoying the view with some wine, it was amazing.

We stayed for 2 nights as two families with babies and toddlers. The house is perfect for kids—comfortable, cozy, and filled with toys. The outside area is safe and lovely. The host was super kind and easy to contact. We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend it for families!

We enjoyed the comfortable cottage with a lovely view of the lake. Loved the deck access to the lake and enjoyed watching the sunset while having a campfire in the fire pit. Tonie was responsive and helpful with local resources. The location is very quiet at night and convenient to all Leelanau destinations. Renters should be aware that one queen bedroom is in the walkout basement with low ceilings.
