Perfect Vrbo for a little getaway upstate. We enjoyed using the kitchen and the fireplace. I'm sure it would be even nicer to stay in during warm weather months with the nice little outdoor areas.

Arne's cottage is an absolute gem of a find! Mins to the beautiful shops, restaurants and sites in Hudson and yet surrounded by sweeping farm land and even a stream running through the back of the property. We felt tucked away and very private. The cottage is VERY well appointed, clean and cozy. Coffee on the front porch, afternoon snacks on the deck, lounging in the sun, cooking in the fully stocked chef's kitchen and luxuriating in the spa like bathroom and quiet primary bedroom. Thank you for sharing so that we could make ourselves at home! I've already recommended this property to a friend and WILL be back!

Kitchen was super well equipped, house was cozy and convenient for a Hudson Valley trip. Communication was excellent!

Location is amazing on a lovely country road surrounded by nature, watched herons hunting in creek outback, best equipped kitchen of any rental we have stayed in.Super close to Hudson and all Columbia County has to offer!

The photos don't do the house justice. It is super clean, well equipped, and comfortable with a beautiful view in a quiet location. The house has books and games, and the host has provided very clear instructions on where and how to use things in the house.

This is a fabulous house to stay at. Very clean, wonderfully decorated, comfortable, peaceful and quiet. My wife and I stayed for two nights and used the house as a base to visit Hudson and Olana both within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely be back!

My husband, my toddler and I all stayed this visit. We had previously visited the property as a couple and had a lovely time. We enjoyed it just as much, if not more with our little guy! He loved watching the birds out the back window and running around the large backyard. Everything is accurate to their listing. The kitchen is lovely and we are making a tradition of going to the weekend farmers market and cooking dinner together here! Beds are comfortable, water pressure is lovely and the owner’s are lovely communicative people. It’s very quiet and set away from everything if you’re looking to relax, but only a few minutes from Warren Street. Our favorite home base in Hudson. We will certainly be back! My son was crying for “more Hudson house,” as we left.

Well-appointed, interesting, fun place to stay! Surrounded by nature, comfortable and clean. Many shops are closed on monday and tuesday in Hudson however.

This house was perfect for our relaxing weekend away. The house is nestled in farm country, but yet only a short drive to downtown Hudson & tons of great restaurants.The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated & well-stocked with everything we could ever need. Arne was a wonderful & responsive host.

Marvelous! Everything was first rate and top shelf. Complete privacy from neighbors, lush rural views, the most well equipped kitchen we have ever seen, ample parking and just a few minutes drive to downtown Hudson and Olana. A terrific experience all around!

My husband & I stayed here for two nights & enjoyed our stay so much we are hoping to return in the future. The home was perfect for our needs, Arne was easy to communicate with, & we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoyed our time staying here! A beautiful and beautifully kept home with great views, and it’s a quick drive to downtown Hudson. Communication with the hosts was easy, and they had lots of great recommendations. Would love to stay again in the spring or summer time.

My wife and I have stayed at Arne and Charles's place many times now and it's always amazing. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean, and it really has everything that you need including a well-appointed kitchen with high quality cookware. The hosts make the whole process very easy. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Hudson River Valley!

Such a peaceful place for writing retreat! There were otters in the stream, and beautiful sunrises, and sunsets. Desk had a lovely view with lots of windows. Kitchen was fully equipped. Thank you so much!

My friend and I come here every three months to write! It is a perfect writing spot - a beautifully appointed home with loads of gorgeous nooks to write and read. The lawn is so beautiful, sitting on a creek. It is a designer's house and just so wonderful to be there in its beauty! Hudson is only a few mins drive away, which is fantastic for food and drinks!
