It is surrounded by beautiful woodland scenery which you can gaze upon from the luxury of your own private hot tub. Near Lydney, you are ideally placed to explore the rugged landscapes of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. If you're looking for a more serene getaway you can stroll to the nearby towns and villages, visiting the many country pubs along the way.

Deer Park Farmhouse offers generous accommodation which is flooded with light. It is a pristine, modern home with a kitchen/diner which is a delight to cook in. Personality is added with the soft furnishings and artwork throughout the house, and it is this that makes the living room such a lovely spot to spend time. Light the woodburner, watch your favourite TV programme, or chat with your group making plans for the rest of your stay. The house is incredibly well-equipped for any group, with flexible bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is even a study and utility providing extra space for getting work done and drying the dogs.

In the garden you are surrounded by tranquillity which you can relish from the six-seater hot tub nestled in a corner of the garden. Pour yourself a drink and sink into the bubbles as you enjoy the views. While you relax the head griller can fire up the barbecue and the children can play games on the lawn. Perfect for the family pets, the garden is fully enclosed, and you can leave the car and follow walks straight from the door.

Study:
At the back of the house the study is a useful, quiet room to catch up on work or have some time to yourself. There is a desk and chair and a wide armchair to curl up in. There is access to the garden from here along a graveled pathway.

We stayed at Deer Park Farmhouse as a group of six and absolutely loved it. The cottage is stylish, spotless, and very cosy, with comfortable bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The hot tub was the highlight, perfect after exploring nearby Puzzlewood and the Forest of Dean. Great location too, close to pubs, shops, and walking trails. The garden made evenings special. A perfect mix of comfort and charm – highly recommend!

This lovely farmhouse was perfect for my husband and me, our 2 adult daughters, and our nephew and his wife since it had 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths! Everything was nicely appointed. Beautiful windows, very nice bath fixtures, a hot tub (for an extra fee which we did). The kitchen starter amenities was a nice touch--coffee w/French press, milk, juice, sugar, teas. There is a washer and dryer in this home which we needed after traveling in Scotland the week prior to the wedding. The dryer was broken at the time, but the weather was nice enough to hang our clothing on the nice clothesline. (the part arrived near the time we left. It would have been nice to know ahead of time, but we were okay with the nice weather & line) We would definitely stay here again if there was a reason to do so. The much larger Lodge House where all the wedding party stayed was JST NEXT DOOR, making it convenient for us all to be together!! Fun times!

Another short break at Deer Park. Such a beautiful place - the garden is just incredible. The house is immaculate and has everything you need. It’s such a beautiful peaceful space to relax. It’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. I’m sure we’ll be back.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the roomy house, decor, facilities etc., The garden and surrounding countryside were also amazing.Although the kitchen had everything you could wish for, it would have been useful to have more cutlery and crockery to avoid the need to wash up or put the dishwasher on after every meal. Some of the cooking pots had also seen better days. However, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We’ve just come back from 3 nights at Deer Park Farmhouse. What an amazing house, and the garden is just fabulous. So much bigger than we expected. The house is immaculate and had everything we needed. The space exceeded our expectations. It’s so peaceful and beautifully maintained. The pre arrival information was super helpful. We were trying to work out when we could return while we were still there. Thank you, we loved it.

As soon as we arrived we are all in awe of how stunning this property is and once we stepped inside we weren't disapointed! The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated, just stunning in every way! We spoke to Tracey the housekeeper on a couple of occasions and she was really helpful and kind! The location is great because you feel totally secluded yet the village is just down the road with some beautiful country pubs! We had the best weekend ever and I would highly recommend this property to any group of friends or family looking for a peaceful getaway!

This is a stunning property in a fantastic location for exploring the forest of dean or further afield the Cotswolds. The only downside was the mould on the walls in one of the three bedrooms - not a little bit but a substantial amount of it across the walls. Otherwise every other room was perfect and a great base for a stay, but this mouldy room had a smell too it and I wouldn't want to stay there again unless that was resolved as it's a potential health hazard. We did flag the mould to the property management company, they weren't exactly apologetic. Just a 'thanks for informing us'. ‍♂️ I hope they resolve it soon as this property is stunning if they do.

We had a very special weekend here celebrating my 50th birthday. The house and grounds are stunning - even better than the photos! Only thing that was slightly disappointing was the lack of mugs and quality of cookware & utensils. We raised this with the booking agent and they’ve assured us it will be looked at. Don’t hesitate to book though! It’s almost perfect

We had a lovely week here, in this beautiful quiet cottage. The gardens are lovely too. We liked that each room had access to its own bathroom and the kitchen space was huge.

House was well equipped and comfortable. Very peaceful and large enclosed garden. Tracey the property manager was really helpful and welcoming. There is only one under the counter fridge and it is too small for 6 adults who are self catering.
