Wren Cottage is situated in the heart of Lydney in the Forest of Dean, situated at the bottom of a long-gravelled drive, this cottage is perfect for friends and families with pets.

The first floor, there are three stunning bedrooms, one king-size, one super king-size room set as two singles (unless otherwise requested) and a single room. On the ground floor, there’s a living room with wood burner, separate dining room, kitchen, bathroom and utility with all the appliances you need home from home. There’s a large, enclosed paddock, perfect for letting the children and pets run free. Directly in front of the cottage is open land - separate paddock is secure for dogs.

Lydney is a charming town located in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England. The area offers a variety of activities and attractions for different interests, whether you’re into history, nature, outdoor activities, or family fun. Here’s a guide to things you can do in Lydney and the surrounding areas, Lydney Park is known for its beautiful gardens, particularly during the spring when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in bloom. The estate also includes a Roman temple site and an interesting museum displaying archaeological finds. Enjoy the peaceful woodland walks throughout the estate. The heritage railway offers scenic rides through the Forest of Dean on vintage steam and diesel trains. It’s a great experience for families and train enthusiasts. The railway hosts various themed events throughout the year, such as Santa Specials during Christmas and murder mystery evenings.

    Absolutely lovely, quirky, and above all cosy cottage. Quite location, but within easy reach of shops and cafes, and only a short drive into the heart of the Forest. Has everything you need and more. Already planning our next visit

    Beutifull cottage everthing you need quiet but within short walk to shopsrestaurants pubs and beautifull wye valley .the owners are helpfull nothing is to much trouble.wonderfull break
