Conveniently located at the crossroads of HWY 224 and SE Lake Road, our home, cottage and garden are the last remnants of a time gone by and what was once a large family farm.
When you walk through the private gate leading to the cottage, you might feel you have stepped through a portal into another time. Everything about the cottage is secluded, peaceful and private.
Decorated throughout with stain glass and treasures from the past, the cottage also is equipped with High Speed WIFI internet and a smart TV. We are very pleased to have so many repeat visitors, many who have family in the area. The garden features a waterfall, chairs and table, BBQ and fresh herbs.
Should you feel inspired by the many farmers markets in our area, we have a fully equipped kitchen with most appliances, plates, and silverware and a fully stocked lauder and pantry.

We had an amazing stay at the Crossroads Country Cottage during our anniversary trip! The space was cozy, spotless, and instantly felt like home. The host went above and beyond with thoughtful touches that truly made our celebration feel special. It meant a lot to us and made the week even more memorable! The cottage itself is peaceful, comfortable, and well cared for, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Communication with the host was easy and welcoming from start to finish, and check-in was smooth and straightforward. We could not have asked for a better place to spend our anniversary. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Portland area.

The cottage and decor are equally charming and artistic. The hosts are very extroverted, so if you are introverted be sure to save up some social battery for the arrival walkthrough. The thoughtful attention to details (dietary concerns, welcome book, helpful tech notes) was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location was perfect for us and we had zero concerns over crime or anything of that nature. Thanks so much!

We had an amazing stay! For our first trip to Portland we couldn't pick a better place. The hosts are absolutely amazing! Gave us the grand tour of the gardens, fruit trees, and koi. They were ultra accommodating with my food allergies. If I could rate them 6 stars I would! The cottage itself is so cute and cozy with a retro feel. Perfect space for 2. Thank you so much for an incredible stay. We'll definitely return next time we're in the area!

I went to Portland to spend a few days with family and this cottage was perfect! The bed was super comfortable, the garden an oasis, and the kitchen was stocked above and beyond anything I've seen before. Suzanne met me and took the time to point out key elements and was so warm and welcoming! To add to it all - they provided several vases of fresh flowers - including stunning peonies! Will definitely stay here again. A

Suzanne made everything wonderful. We have never had a host take care of us like she did! The cottage was supplied with everything we needed and more, but if we had needed anything she would be right there. She has poured so much love and beauty into her place, comfortable in every way. We especially loved the stained glass. She has many repeat visitors, and we understand why.

Lovely host couple, cute little mother-in-laws apartment off the side of the house with private gardens. All the blue glass and stained glass was fun to see and use. The biggest thing that actually surprised us... the cupboards were full. The the host had stocked us with snacks and breakfast foods, some pasta with sauce, spices, coffee choices, tea choices and hot cocoa. Thank you for welcoming us into your little cottage home. P&S
