Cozy Quiet Cottage

Communication with the Host was outstanding. He made sure we had everything we needed. Since it was unusually cold he let us know where heated blankets were. (Did not end up using them). Everything we needed was onsite, the fireplace was a plus with plenty of firewood. Close to town and restaurants. Recently updated and it shows.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and th cabin was very cozy during new years week! We will book again!

Beautiful remodel, great location.

The cozy cottage lived up to its name. Iceland decorated, kitchen stocked with more than adequate eating and cooking equipment, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, fireplace, screened in back porch and front porch with rockers. The home host Dave was very responsive and communicative. The only drawback was the very narrow roads in the house’s neighborhood. It’s conveniently located to town.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very cozy and well appointed cottage in quiet neighborhood location. Accommodations were great, home was nicely decorated and we had everything we needed. Good communication with host. Would definitely rent here again.

A lovely retreat, cozy & comfortable cabin. Very clean & had everything we needed. I have been a Premier VRBO host myself, so i appreciated the extra touches including the complimentary bottle of wine. I chose this cabin because of the close proximity to town & the good reviews on the comfortable bed & it did not disappoint. We celebrated our 48th Anniversary there - had a wonderful time! The owner was in France while we stayed there & still communicated well.

This was our third stay at Dave’s place and we are already looking forward to the next! As always, the cottage was clean and equipped with all we might need during our stay. The kitchen has all necessary cooking utensils, pots/pans/bakeware, and food storage containers, and there is a washer and dryer in the basement available for guest use - just like home. The water pressure is great, beds/pillows comfortable, and location unbeatable. Without a doubt my favorite VRBO.

Cozy quiet cottage is the perfect descriptor. My wife and I were looking for a peaceful spot that was close to Highlands shops and restaurants. Very comfortable place. The cottage is tastefully decorated and well stocked to meet almost any need you may have. Would be our first choice the next time we visit the area.

Well equipped home, close to town with a great fireplace!

This cottage is so cute. Beds are super comfy. Everything we needed was provided. The location is excellent - very close to downtown Highlands. David is an excellent host!

Delightful stay! The host David is remarkable! Very tuned into details right up my alley. As in all the other reviews, we found the same wonderful things like the beds supplies all to be very true. You won’t be disappointed! Takes 5 to 7 min to get to town. A home away Fr home.

Very attractive and clean. The owner was so nice and helpful, always responded quickly. The kitchen had everything we needed and the gas grill worked beautifully, which has not always been our experience with rentals. The fireplace was easy to use and very enjoyable on cool evenings. Hope we’ll be back soon.

This home was amazing and very comfortable! The owner has thought of everything that visitors need with the supplies he has provided. The host was very responsive and kind. The home has modern features and is gorgeous! The master bed was comfy. The HVAC system worked great. The master shower is huge. The large TV in the den and screened-in back porch is great. I could go on and on with the awesome features. I highly recommend this rental. We hated to leave! It's very close to downtown Highlands, but in a neighborhood that is very quiet.

Everything was perfect.

We have used VRBO for many years. This was the best rental of all. Very nice updated interior with a great screened back porch. Kitchen had every thing you might need. Only a 5 min. drive into town. Would stay again.
