The dining space seats up to 8 guests, and is a wonderful space for enjoying a meal or engaging in a board game or puzzle. The main living room is just off the dining space and includes a comfy sofa, overstuffed chair, Smart TV and electric fireplace. There's even a small gaming table ready for a round of cards. Also in this space is an ottoman that opens up into a twin size bed for an additional sleeping space.
In the kitchen, you will find all you need for whipping up meals including brand new stainless steel appliances that include a four-burner glass top stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of dishes/pots and pans. The primary bedroom on the main floor has just been refreshed to include a queen size bed, storage, a private desk space for checking emails and a Smart TV. Both bathrooms are also on the main floor. Outside, everyone can have fun exploring the shared outdoor areas that include private trails down to and alongside the creek, the community gazebo and the backyard seating areas and fire pit (Burn Ban in effect July 1 to Oct 1) These outdoor areas are shared with guests who may be occupying the other vacation rental on the property along with the homeowner who lives in the main house.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and comfortable home. The house is well maintained, beautiful furnitures, with a well-equipped kitchen and brand-new appliances that made cooking easy and enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable. One of the highlights is the peaceful, secluded setting surrounded by nature. The patio and backyard are absolutely beautiful, and having the river as part of the property made the experience even more special—it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind.Dena is truly a super host—very responsive, kind, and attentive to every detail, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to many must-see attractions in Olympic National Park.We highly recommend this property and would definitely love to come back! Monika

This is a really clean, cozy house in a beautiful location. We loved the path through the woods to the river and were so excited to see the salmon spawning. And so close to Langford Lake was awesome. Our host was great. Wonderful stay!

The house easily slept all of us and the property managers offered to work with us when a semi truck wrecked nearby, closing the highway.

My husband and two young adult daughters stayed for a week at the cottage. We all thought the home had everything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit and the some of the games available. We used the cottage as our home base for explorating Olympic National Park. It was a great location!

This little cabin is exceedingly cute and well appointed. With comfortable rooms, and multiple places to lounge, relax, and cook after a long day of hiking. The host has done a wonderful job of creating multiple outdoor spaces for grilling out or dining al fresco. One of my few regrets of the trip was that we were not able to spend more time enjoying the cabin. The only slightly negative think I could think of for this review is that the cabin is very close to the main road, so there is some occasional road noise, particularly if you are outside. But being so close to that road is also what gives the cabin easy access to the park, and lake Crescent just 15 minutes away.

My daughter and I recently stayed for five nights. The cabin was perfect for two people, but I think it would have felt cramped if ten people stayed. The upstairs had very low ceilings. We cooked breakfast and a couple dinners in the cottage and the kitchen was well stocked. Our beds were extremely comfortable and with the air conditioners in the windows we slept very well. We enjoyed watching the salmon spawn in the stream off the beautiful path right behind the cottage. The weather was gorgeous and we kept very busy. We went on a Puffin Boat Tour out of Port Townsend, did multiple hikes around Lake Crescent, Hoh Rainforest, Salt Creek, Dungeness, and Madison Creek Falls. We especially enjoyed Ruby, Rialto, and Second Beaches. Not only were the beaches and rock formations gorgeous, but they had the most amazing tide pools we have ever seen. It was a fantastic trip!
