Stayed Aug 27, 2025We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The cottage was clean. The bed a bit too soft for us but we like an extra firm bed. It’s a great neighborhood and within walking distance of several good restaurants.

Stayed Sep 7, 2024Enjoyed our stay very much. Good location, walk to town, marina and harbor. Very well maintained, stocked and comfortable. Owner lives next door and was very helpful without being intrusive. Southwest Harbor has just enough activities and restaurants and it’s also pretty quiet and very much the quaint New England coastal town we all love. Close to Acadia and Bar Harbor too.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024This was such a cute cottage, with everything needed supplied. Cozy and coastal within walking distance of a lot of great restaurants and shops, easy drive to other parts of Acadia. This was perfect on the “quiet side”. Would book this again in a heartbeat. Chris was really welcoming and gave us some good info on places to visit while on vacation.. thanks for a great trip to the area Chris!!!

Stayed Sep 18, 2018We have stayed here several times and have always found it to be perfect. The cottage is like new and always clean. The location is on the quiet side of the island but close enough for all the activities. My wife and I are extremely happy we found this treasure.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My wife and I stayed at this property in Southwest Harbor for a week in early September. It was great. The cottage was just the right size for the two of us. There is a loft with two additional beds, reached by a ladder, which would be fine for older children. The decorating was attractive, and the white paint made the inside bright and cheerful. The house is only two years old and appears to be only in occasional use. Everything is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped with just about anything you would require. The bed was quite comfortable. This location on the other side of island, away from Bar Harbor, is not so busy and crowded. It's very pleasant and there are nearby restaurants. The owner was helpful and friendly. We had a great vacation.
