Stayed Dec 31, 1969Cute cottage on a quiet street of Caye Caulker. The ladder to reach the upper loft is quite steep. The place is pleasant, modern, well equipped, clean, with effective AC. Great place to stay

Stayed Jan 10, 2026The unit was spacious and well appointed and the AC system worked perfectly. The proximity to the pool (out the door to your left and two paces) to the unit was excellent.

Stayed Jan 3, 2025We absolutely loved Caye Caulker and these VRBOs. Such cute, quaint cottages. Michael was always on top of bringing more water when we asked.

Stayed Dec 18, 2024This little 4-cottage collection with pool spot is just lovely. We were the only family there until the last day, but it's in a nice quiet neighborhood and the property felt very private and was very comfortable. The pool was in good shape, the cottage itself well maintained and clean aside from most of the roman shades were not functioning so took a little effort to flip them up and down as needed. Heat pumps and ceiling fans worked great, could use a few more pillows on the beds, but that may just be me! The property manager, Michael, was wonderful and very responsive via email for anything we needed. We did end up renting a golf cart for the stay as the property is a good 10-20 minute walk to the main roads where restaurants and businesses are on a dry day, and after a rain with the sandy muddy roads (no sidewalks), the walk took even longer. But again, being located not too close to the main roads meant it was a little quieter, which was nice. Definitely recommend!

Stayed Dec 8, 2024Cottage was perfect. Clean and well kept. Manager Michael is ALWAYS available and ready to help with any problems. Even getting us taxi service when needed. Cottage included bath n 2 beach towels. Jugged water cooler. I like temperature cool at night but needed a little heavier blanket. Our only dislike was the location. We like being closercloser to the main road

Stayed Jul 10, 2024This property was easy to access and communicate with the management. There is a manager, Michael, that lives on the island who is very responsive and friendly. Overall the cottage is above standard for the island of Caye Caulker and we very much enjoyed the stay. it was also a bonus to have a pool to dip in at night and cool off after a long hot day in the sun!

Stayed Apr 6, 2024The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children.

Stayed Apr 19, 2024Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay here! There was a golf cart waiting for our arrival to take us to the cabins. The property is far enough from the main townsite that it was nice and quiet in the evenings. The pool was well loved by our kids to help beat the heat. And the cabin itself was perfect for our needs. We had a wonderful stay.

Stayed Mar 29, 2024Low Caye Cottages is perfect for our family of 3! Lovely setting in peaceful palms, colorful cottages surround a tranquil pool ready for relaxation. Kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the full size refrigerator and ice trays. Drinking water on tap. Just close enough to the bustle of the village, yet far enough to chill. AC was point!! Thank you Jeff and Michael Joseph for hosting us (again!), until next time—

Stayed Dec 20, 2023The cabin was cute. My kid love the top area, unfortunately, he didn’t want to be up there by himself. So my husband was stuck up there. Then, if you’re trying to watch TV you gotta keep it really low because everybody can hear everything. We had to move the furniture because it was just not facing correctly. The chairs are so uncomfortable to relax and enjoy. Then I went to the downstairs bed, and for some reason started itching a lot. I continue searching the bed and it was definitely little bugs all around the corner edges at the top I took pictures and told the manager about it and wanted me to get the bed from another cabin. I just cleaned it the manager did offer to come over to vacuum it but due to the time I just didn’t want anyone in the cabin. So I did it myself. Not what I wanted to do in my vacation after cleaning I finally lay down my first night exhausted. The bed was extremely hard then I had to fix all the shades. Most of them were broken or couldn’t go up or down . I had to fix it morning light would definitely come in beaming on my face . So, so I had to take care of that, luckily I had some tape so that I can get some privacy while laying in bed . At this point I was done. Another thing I didn’t like is that there was a light in the shower where the drain is. The steps had green slime possible slip accident. Then it’s time to take a shower and there’s hardly any water coming out of the shower. The flow was really slow. My experience
