This private beach area has remarkably calm waters and is perfect for small children to play safely, to relax and read a book, or to launch a kayak or paddle board to explore the coastal tidal inlets. Additional beach access via a short walk (approx. 500 feet) to the Dike Bridge East Beach entrance. This 3 plus bedroom, 2 full bath Chappy Cottage isnewly furnished and fully equipped for you to enjoy all the amenities this prime coastal location has to offer. A private outdoor shower, bbq grills and beach chairs are on site and available for you to start enjoying your vacation without delay ! The first floor eat-in kitchen is open to the living room with counter seating. A first floor bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and en suite bathroom with bathtub. A second bedroom is located on the second floor with a queen bed. The second floor family room captures water views and is equipped with a sleeper sofa and additional access to the deck. *This room is labeled primary bedroom on the floor plan sketch but can be utilized as a family room or as sleeping quarters, if desired, depending on the preference of the particular rental party. A full bathroom with a shower is accessed via the hallway with a bunk room accessed through the bathroom. The bunk room is equipped with a lower level full size bed and a twin bunk bed above. The living room on the lower level has an additional small sleeper sofa bed for overflow guests. The upper level deck can also be accessed by the lower level BBQ grill area and is perfect for relaxing, dining or simply enjoying the coastal surroundings and water views. The yard is primarily level and gently rolling topography suitable for recreational activities and games with ample parking for 8+ vehicles. Mytoi Japanese Gardens are within 1000 feet, expansive land trust hiking trails are located throughout the neighborhood and the Cape Pogue Lighthouse is within 3.5 miles. The Royal Chappaquiddick Golf Course is located nearby with a 9 hole golf course open to island visitors. The Edgartown Ferry is 3 miles away providing access to restaurants, shopping, and a wide variety of activities within the Edgartown Center and the surrounding Martha's Vineyard Island. Chappaquiddick is popular for those who wish to escape the traffic, congestion and crowds on the main island and seek a more relaxed coastal vibe, incredible beaches, and abundant natural surroundings with arguably some of the finest fishing on the eastern seaboard.
