Teresa is a great host and takes care of everything!

Lovely villa with plenty of space and a couple of handy bars/restaurants nearby. We especially loved the outdoor space - private pool was fantastic, as was the outdoor kitchen. Only problem was it made it hard to tear ourselves away to explore this beautiful island!

We had a great week at the boat house. Lovely sea views, fantastic heated swimming pool, very comfortable and clean house, plenty of space inside and outside. In an ideal location to visit the island. We would love to come back!

We loved our stay here. There were a few tiny things that were not perfect, but it didn't affect our stay. Loved the swimming pool and it has an amazing view with gorgeous sunsets! The island is fantastic and we will definitely be back!

We loved it! We were looking for a place that wasn’t in the main city Funchal in order to see everyday Madeira. Casa Do Barco is easy to reach by car and is surrounded by the small grocery shops, bars and restaurants used by the locals. The house has an enclosed courtyard and has terraces on three levels, all of them in the sun and with wonderful wide views over to the sea. The swimming pool is set amidst green grass and was warm, 28degC by the end of our stay. The house has all mod cons and the kitchen was equipped to feed us all every night. It was so nice just to eat on the terrace with a glass of local wine, we didn’t need to visit restaurants. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and we thoroughly recommend people to stay at Casa Do Barco.

We had a perfect relaxing break . Teresa is the perfect host ,she met us at the villa on arrival .The villa is stylish,spotless clean and comfortable.Lots of space in and around the outside,very private,good equipped with everything you might need,good size the pool and amazing views .Just 10 mins by car to market and restaurants but we nearly everyday used bbq . Would recommend to anyone thinking of renting it !! Thank you very much Teresa for lovely stay .We hope to see you again soon ...

A great place to stay and a good base for exploring the island Our thanks to Teresa for a memorable holiday. Madeira is really special and we will never forget its beauty.

The property has everything you need, and was an excellent base for our hiking week. If there was one thing, I would make guests aware that most sat navs take you up an extremely steep road to get to the house! There is a much easier route. Apart from that, we can't wait to return. Thank you Teresa.
