BEST LOCATION in CVX! 1.5 blocks from Lake MI Beach & DOWNTOWN CHARLEVOIX!

Location was excellent as expected for the price. The house was in good condition but there are a couple minor downsides for consideration. There is no HVAC upstairs which can make for uncomfortable sleeping. Also right now there’s heavy construction going on next door which causes a lot of noise and many people/trucks coming and going throughout the day.

House is a great location for exploring Charlevoix on foot. Comfortable and well appointed, it is a nice place to stay.

Quaint, clean, comfortable, with everything we needed. Outdoor area with table chairs & portable fire pit. Walking distance to the beach and town.Great place to stay, highly recommended.

Over all a great house ! Well stocked with everything towels,nice dishes ,coffee ,cooking supplies, beach accessories ,soaps &detergents. Such easy walking everywhere!Lovely P.S. the 750 piece bird puzzle is missing pieces but had fun solving it .

This property is an older home close to beach and town. If you're looking for a quaint, quiet place to unplug this would be a great place. However, if you're traveling with family and children you may want to rethink it. The electricity is sketchy at best. All the outlets upstairs will not hold a plug in place (attempting to dry my hair the plug kept falling out of the outlet). The only usable plugs were in the kitchen. Most of the lamps are nonworking, might just need new light bulbs.Living room furniture is quite uncomfortable.We had an issue with the new build next door as they crimped the water line our last day. Most of that day we only had a trickle of water. The city water department worked into the late evening and had it repaired by nightfall.We really enjoyed our first trip to Charlevoix and will most likely return next year.

This property was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the large living room that was very relaxing, especially with the gas fireplace. We did minimal cooking, but it was nice to have plenty of cookware and dishes. The sheer window coverings made for less privacy and were not dark enough for sleeping with the streetlight shining in and once it was daylight. Otherwise, it is a nice home.

This was exactly what we expected, even more actually. So comfortable, beautifully furnished, well stocked and thoughtfully staged and supplied. Everything we needed was right there and available. While this was a working trip for us, we feel like we took a bit of vacation as well in this wonderful home. We will definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise!

As described, great location walk to everything. Host very responsive, nice area, would stay again. No crowds, not everything was open but enough to fill a few days! Close to petosky and Mackinac.

This was a wonderful stay it was a very warm and comfortable place. It had all the things you could ask for. We just loved it.

We had a fantastic stay on Grant St. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. We enjoyed walking to the beach or into town. Cant wait to visit again

Charlevoix is a beautiful town. We fell in love with Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix. And, this home was perfect for our stay. The location is wonderful- walk a couple minutes one way to the beach, and a few in the other direction to town. We had plenty of room, but the house still felt cozy. Shawn was a wonderful host- communication was easy. Not sure when we will return to Michigan, but we hope we can stay in one of his properties next time.
