Beehive Tiny House at Acadia Yurts!

We truly loved everything about our stay at Acadia Yurts' Beehive Tiny House! We had never stayed in a tiny house before and this one exceeded all of our expectations. Karen and Aaron are amazing hosts. We had everything we needed and more for a home base to enjoy Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and Southwest Harbor.

Awesome fun place to stay

Beehive tiny house at Acadia Yurts is a great place to stay. Very clean all the accommodations of home. 10 out of 10 would stay there again.

There was some hairs on the bed which weren’t ours, the white sheets were very clingy it seems because after one night our hair stuck too! We weren’t too bothered but other visitors might be, just a heads up :). It was a 22 min drive from downtown and 5 from Acadia park. Very convenient. It was super comfy and cute. We felt very safe it in all night with the double locks. I loved the shower! It had great pressure and it came down overhead. Karen and Aaron checked on us after one night, very nice and accommodating. Would love to stay again.

Yes it was clean, well stocked, and organized. It was adjacent to the park.

My stay at the Beehive Tiny House was exactly as advertised: comfortably close to nature. Everything about the property is peaceful and allows you to relax and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Karen and Aaron were great hosts who checked in regularly and made sure I had what I needed throughout my stay. Being on the quiet side of Acadia National Park also had its perks, from proximity to beautiful hikes with less crowds to still being a short drive from the park and great spots for sunrise and sunset! I can’t wait to plan another stay at Acadia Yurts!

This tiny home was very thoughtfully designed and was perfect for two people. We enjoyed the peaceful, secluded feel to the property, and it was easy to access all parts of Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. Check in/check out was a breeze and although we didn’t need anything, the hosts were available and had great communication. Would definitely stay here again!

Although it's a Tiny Home all of our necessities were met! Our home was spotless. The grounds were also well maintained. The Wellness Center has a beautiful yoga studio which we took advantage of. Karen and Aaron were great hosts and checked in to make sure our stay was great. A short drive from the National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. Not much in the area, but removed enough to unplug and reset in the quiet of nature.

We loved our stay in the Beehive Tinyhouse! We had the perfect blend of being in nature, but also very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the tiny house was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast before leaving for our hikes. Acadia Yurts was about 30 minutes from Bar Harbor and many of the hiking spots we went to. The hosts were so friendly and easy to get in contact with. With all this to say, we will definitely be coming back!!

We thought the location was great and the property was well kept and the beehive tiny house was very clean.The tiny house was definitely tiny! There was absolutely no place to open our suitcases or store them. Getting in and out of the bed is very difficult since there is a tiny space between the sides of the bed and the walls. You need to climb in from the bottom of the bed so if you have any back issues that is a problem. There is no place to to put your phone or eyeglasses next to the bed. The only sink is in the main room, there is no sink in the bathroom. We were quite surprised that there was no shampoo and just a tiny bar of soap. There was hand soap and dish soap available though.

We had a great stay. We enjoyed the quiet location, the host was quick to reply to messages, and the house was stocked with everything we needed.

Wonderful way to unplug from the bustle of life. Property is secluded yet close to everything. Would recommend to give it a shot, you’ll love it! Next visit we will be trying the Yurts!

This tiny home was spotless and beautifully maintained, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the space felt even better than the photos. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Cozy and immaculate little property with all the things you can ask for in a Maine getaway. The setting was like a tranquil campground. The bedding was really nice loved the down pillows and the shower and kitchen facilities excellent.

Great quiet location with easy access to the park

Perfect spot away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor! The space is wonderfully appointed for making breakfast and lunch to go and then chilling in the evening after long hikes.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the Beehive Tiny House. It was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen seemed well stocked even though we didn’t make anything but coffee. It was cozy but just right for the two of us. The shower had great water pressure. Everything was clean. The property is very close to many Acadia sites on the Southwest side of Mount Desert Island. It’s about a 20-25 minute drive to the larger side of the park. The Southwest Harbor town is adorable and everyone is so kind. We would stay again in this area!

Loved the area and the quietness

This place was awesome to stay in for a weekend away! The location and atmosphere was perfect. Very clean and plenty of available amenities. Out of the way of the busy areas of ANP and Bar Harbor but still very central to everything. Overall, this is a great place to stay and we would stay here again.

Me and my wife stayed at the Beehive Tiny House following our wedding for a quick getaway to Acadia. We had an amazing experience. The tiny house and community was so comfy, organized, and the community has many amenities for guests to use. Instructions were very clear and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend to any couple looking to stay close to Acadia.

Tiny house was clean and cozy

Coziest place to stay that is outside the town of Bar Harbor! Lots of trails near bye and we hiked Acadia Mountatin which is 6 minutes away. We did other hikes such as ocean loop, sand beach, thunder hole, otter cliffs, Jordan Pond, south bubble rock! We also drove up to Cadillac mountain to witness the most gorgeous sunset.

5 star accommodation to go along with a 5 star national park! Very clean and modern but with a campground feel as well as relaxing amenities at the wellness center. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit.

My husband and I spent a few nights at this tiny home in Acadia as part of our two week Maine vacation. I found the accommodations to be just as advertised. Everything was quite clean and the host was quick to respond to my text inquiries. The location is great, near several good restaurants, and easy access to the all the sights on the island. The house is compact, but everything you need is there. There is very little room on the sides of the bed so we had to climb into it from the bottom. This was fine for us but I wanted to mention it in case anyone has mobility issues.

We loved staying in the Beehive tiny house! It was located in a very convenient area, about 20-30 min from Acadia. The kitchen had all the necessities and the house had a tankless water heater that made the end of a full day of hiking really relaxing. We loved our stay at Acadia Yurts and hope to come back soon!

Clean, quiet, and an easy driving distance from all the places I wanted to visit. Extra kudos for booking my massage kind of last minute. I wish there had been firmer pillows, but it wouldn't be fair to lower my rating for that since it seems to be the case everywhere! I will definitely stay here again when I return to the area!

My wife and I loved loved LOVED our stay at Acadia Yurts in the Beehive Tiny House. Our only regret? That we didn’t stay longer. Perfectly located on the quiet side of Acadia with access to nearby awesome hikes but still an easy drive to Bar Harbor. Ten stars!!

We absolutely loved the Beehive Tiny house! It was perfect for us and so peaceful and quiet after long days of adventure. Great location to get places in about 15 min or so. The hosts made sure we had what we needed. The entire complex was beautiful.
