The property is very spacious and well appointed, with good sized bedrooms, bathrooms and a beautiful pool. The kitchen and dinning room have all facilities you could expect. The area is very rural and in general peaceful. A car is essential to be able to access any of the local towns or restaurants. A trip to Porto is highly recommended, although finding a parking space was problematic. The local restaurants offer tasty but rustic food at very good prices, however there is not a large range in the local area. Also try a trip on the local train to Regua, but note that the local short boat trip on the Duaro does not operate on Monday. Overall a good value for money, relaxing holiday in a very nice villa.
