Stayed May 28, 2026This was our first time visiting the UP - the size of house was perfect for our family of 5. The location and view are excellent. We LOVED the paddle board, kayaks, the enclosed porch loaded with games/items for the beach, and the sunrise. The sunrise on the lake was EPIC every morning and was one of my favorite parts of the trip. If you need total darkness to sleep, you may want to bring a sleep mask to block the light that pours into the house early in the morning. There is also no washer/dryer so you have to take your laundry to a downtown L’Anse laundromat. There are plenty of restaurants/pubs within walking distance to help pass the time while you run a few loads.Thank you for a wonderful week - we hope to come back soon!

Stayed May 24, 2026We had a delightful time on the shores of 2nd Sands Beach! The home was very clean and comfortable. The larger front deck was a perfect place to have a cup of coffee and relax. Everything was just perfect! Thanks so much for sharing this home.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025We had a fantastic time at Sand Bay! The house was perfect for our family of 4 with room to spare. The view is what drew me to this house and it was exactly as pictured. We enjoyed the sandy beach, kayaks, paddleboard, beach volleyball, and more! This was our first trip to the UP and this property made our stay better than expected!
