AWESOME LOCATION AND COTTAGE! NEW PICTURES COMING SOON

It was a cute little house, and the location was awesome... Unfortunately the hot water didn’t work the first night, there was mouse poop on the baking pans, lots of light bulbs were out (difficult in an already dark home), and there seemed to be a lot of cobwebs/spiders and dust. The blankets in the living-room had a very musty-tangy smell. We also thought it was weird that we had to wash/dry the linen before checking out. All in all, we all had a nice time, we just think a little more effort in cleaning and maintenance would be beneficial.

Difficult steps/walkway for my 80year old mother. Living room furniture was very worn and stained. For the over 500 a night I was expecting a bit more. Some small changes would go very far, replace burned out light bulbs, clean bathroom vents, toilet paper holders that fit the toilet paper, replace batteries in the clocks. I love the old barn timbers but my sinuses did not, if you are sensitive to smells better reconsider staying here.

Very nice and clean. Space in backyard for kids to run around and a fire pit. Lots of stairs for older guests.

We’ve stayed at this property each year for the last 3 years. It’s a nice cabin set in the woods. Always have a good time there.

We just returned from a week at the Silver Star and my kids have already asked if we can book it again for next year’s vacation! The cottage is lovely and comfortable, and the two story entryway is beautiful and fun for the kids. Plenty of space for everyone, comfortable beds and a nice secluded feeling even though you’re close to everything. The community beach is nice for playing, but not the best choice if you want to swim. Lake Michigan is just a few minutes away, though, and has lovely beaches. We loved the community pool and fireworks show on the beach, and there’s so much to do in the area. We picked strawberries and cherries, spent a day at Lake Michigan in Pentwater, played mini golf, had a few nights by the campfire and those are just a few of the activities we enjoyed. When I had a question, the hosts were very prompt and helpful. I highly recommend staying here!

This was the best place to stay with four of our grandkids! Everything we needed was provided!

We had a wonderful stay in Silver Lake and this place was perfect for our family of 5. It had everything we needed, plus more. The pool and beach area were great perks along with the fire pit at the house to relax at in the evenings. We hope to be back!!

We stayed here four nights. The home was great, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. It’s great we could walk to the lake, pool and pickle ball courts, but the privacy and quiet of beautiful neighborhood. The stars are incredible. My family definitely will be coming back!!

This cottage had everything we needed! We loved the pool, shuffle board and pickleball. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen items, towels, etc. Perfect location. I would highly recommend the whole association.

We loved it. We’ve stayed at Flora-Dale for 10 years in different places, and this one had a fantastic layout and furnishings. The walk to the pool was fine. It feels secluded without being separate, and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

Very clean and quiet area. Pool was a great extra. Perfect location for visiting both Lake Michigan and the dunes.
