Quaint, but not claustrophobic, 2 bdrm (dbl bed in each), 1 bath Amagansett cottage with additional outdoor shower on swimmable bay-fed pond with awesome views!
Steps to bay and famous kite boarding/windsurfing beach. Surrounded by sand dunes and natural preserves. 2.5 miles to the ocean (although only 1 mile as the crow flies). It feels like you're in another world, but you're only a 6 minute drive to the Amagansett village and a 12 minute drive to East Hampton or Montauk.

Stayed Aug 23, 2017Considering the amount we paid for two adults and no pets we expected better accommodations and amenities. The entire house was cooled in August by one window mounted a/c unit and the house was extraordinarily hot when we arrived. The two very small bedrooms had multiple fans. The TV did not work. The house had the appearance that the owners simply left the way it was when they departed the day before, refrigerator filled with food, and there were multiple personal hygiene items throughout the house. On the plus side the geographic area is beautiful with wildlife abounding. The owner was cooperative and easy to work with. The outside shower is a real plus.
