The cottage is comfortable and equipped with everything you need. It is a very short walk to the beach and a good local restaurant, Heritage Kitchen. The house has a washer and dryer which is a definite plus. Pearl is great and will give you tips daily. She and her husband even stopped by before we left with a little gift! I would recommend renting a car for easy travel around the island.

Everything was great, close to the beach and other activities

Good location with easy access to grocery shopping, restaurants and shore diving locations.

Convenient location to area beaches, restaurants, grocery, and liquor stores. Just a short walk to a beach and Heritage Kitchen restaurant. There are a few very small rental units adjacent to this home that appeared to have local people living in them. This is not apparent on the listing and someone parked right outside the bedroom window. Note the curtains are pretty sheer so not very private. The sheer curtains also let in the morning sun so very bright at sunrise. The host was very friendly. It is her old home and she seams a little overprotective with people staying there. The place needs updating (window treatments for better privacyand a good cleaning. Very dusty ceilings fans and tile flooring left our feet pretty dirty.

Although we didn't get much time to see a lot of the Cayman Islands due to work, coming home to a house in the evening was fantastic. The beach is less than a 5-minute walk, and the sunset there is fantastic. The house is exactly like the pictures, and the host (Pearl) is the best you could ever ask for. Pearl always went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect and kept in contact while we were there. And her guided tour of Hell was perfect, lol. Stay here if you plan on going to the Cayman Islands. You'll love it.

Very clean and nice home. Gives a real feel for living like a resident. All the comforts are provided. Very walkable location. Pearl went above and beyond to meet my needs. Air conditioning worked great!! Looking forward to visiting again.

The four of us had a great time at Aloe Vera. Our hosts were so nice. They showed us around the house and were always there for us. They gave us some small Cayman souvenirs before we left too.

Good size home in a good location

Our plan was to scuba dive the West Bay and this house was walking distance to the West Bay Pier where our dive boat was located. Enjoyed Cemetery Beach and watching the sunset at Alfrescos. Hosts were fantastic.

Pearl was a treat. Her home had all my brother and i needed. On the north end of seven mile beach. Good home base to drive around the island just on the fringe of the tourist area. I would go back and visit her and her home again.
