On the first floor there is a a good-sized double bedroom to the front of the cottage, which retains its original cast iron open fireplace. Also on the first floor is a lovely bathroom including a full size bath with high pressure rain shower. The sunny garden at the front of the cottage is fully enclosed with picket fence and shrubs, and is a lovely spot to enjoy a quiet drink, or two, and bite to eat.

Docking is a bustling village, with excellent local amenities - a supermarket and post office, a fish and chip shop, and pub - and also hosts a weekly farmer's market with stallholders including a baker, fishmonger, butcher, greengrocer and a stall selling cheeses, cakes and preserves. The village is perfectly placed for the North Norfolk coast, with its long and fine sandy beaches, the nearest being at Brancaster - just four miles away - and is a great base for getting out and about exploring the villages of rural Norfolk too.
