A Beachfront Cottage for Two!

Our stay was exceptional, in every way. Thank you, Dawn and Mark, for this very special vacation sojourn

It was beautiful and serene. We relaxed, walked the beach, collected shells, and just enjoyed nature.

Sweet Pea cottage is just perfect for two people. It was clean,the bed comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the view and area un beatable. The beach is perfect for walks and falling asleep to the sound of the surf is relaxing. The owner, Dawn, was quick to reply to any questions and greeted us the first day to see if we needed anything and answer any questions we had. The area is convenient to anywhere on the Bold Coast. We explored it all. There is helpful information in the cottage about nearby restaurants and areas to see and hike. Other residents and guests along the beach were friendly and ready with suggestions on where to go, what to see, and where to eat. We enjoyed everything about this trip.

The Sweet Pea is a charming, well-equipped cottage just steps from the beach. It is perfect for 2 people and we were very grateful to Dawn for making us feel so welcome. The place was super clean, and had many amenities one might not expect in a rental. We were able to cook with ease in the cozy kitchen, and spent hours on the beach walking, beach-combing and reading. We hope to return next year! Thank you Dawn & Mark!

Quiet and peaceful away from all the hoopla down in southern Maine.Right on the beach for walks and views.Cottage was clean and had everything needed, should you choose to cook, including a grill outside.Great owners who respond quickly to your questions.

It was absolutely relaxing and amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. The hosts were absolutely wonderful.

The Sweet Pea is a lovely little cottage sitting in a grassy and shady plot at the sandy edge of Chandler Bay. It has a glorious view of the sunrise every morning as you sit in a rocking chair by a picture window and drink a cup of coffee. The cottage is cozy, the design is charming, the furniture is comfortable and there is plenty of room for two. The beach is lovely for walking and you can even walk out to an island when the tide is low. We love the quiet. We love that the cottage is so very clean, And we love its charming decor. We love staying there while we enjoy the Down-east area.

This was the second time being there but first time with family! Kids loved it and it was such an amazing time! Dawn and Mark are such lovely people and I love talking with them!

We’ve stayed here three times now, and it’s always been magnificent. Listen to the surf while you drift off to sleep, and you have a great spot for the sunrise and a dark sky for stargazing. Dawn and Mark have everything you can think of available. When you think, “I could really use…” It always there.We had a special new moon bonus of being able to walk over to Mink Island across the way, but Bar Island is accessible at most low tides. Peaceful, cozy- we love this place, and our hosts are absolutely wonderful

Terrific location for a quiet week's get away. Good base for the great hiking on Wass Island, around Cutler and onward toward Lubec. Accommodating hosts, comfortable cottage, nice sandy beach and A+ sunrises.
