Located near the medieval town of Tewkesbury there is plenty on the doorstep to explore and the M5 is very close by with nearby access to the Cotswolds and Cheltenham. Enjoy the bustling market town of Tewkesbury by day, exquisite waterside walks and theatre shows. Take a leisurely meander in the market town, weave in and out of the Tudor buildings and visit farmers’ markets, antique shops and tea rooms. Pick up a small aperitif and step aboard a river cruise (season permitting) before catching a matinee at the Roses Theatre. A five to ten minute drive will bring you to a designer outlet in Tewkesbury, well worth a visit!

If historic splendour is on the agenda, Tewkesbury is home to a 12th-century abbey, adorned with one of the highest Norman towers in the country, and the largest medieval re-enactment festival in Europe in July. Just a short drive to the other side of town you will find Croft Farm, where you can spend the days on the lake, sailing, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. There is even a selection of peddalos for the younger ones. The café at Croft Farm is dog friendly too. Beyond Tewkesbury you will find the famous Cotswolds, and a day out in Chipping Campden is a must. Admire the streets of honey-hued, ‘chocolate box’ houses, boutique shops, pubs and restaurants, plus several castles nearby. There are plenty of on and off-road cycle routes and some family friendly trails to explore.

On days when you want to just be at one with nature, take a trip to the nearby nature reserve - educational and fun for all the family. You will find Regency Cheltenham within 10 miles, great to visit for one of their cultural festivals or a flutter at the races. Stunning Sudeley and Eastnor Castles, and Malvern are all within 15 miles. Whatever you choose to do, The Exchange will not disappoint. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Would highly recommend this property. Spacious, warm & clean. The thought that had gone into providing everything we needed for our stay was exceptional. As was the Welcome Pack which was the most generous we've ever been given. Thank you to the owners.

A wonderful homely holiday home. The house was spotlessly clean, well prepared, and very large. There was the best welcome hamper I've ever seen which was much appreciated with a note from the owner with tips for events happening locally. The garden was brilliant, lovely and big, flat, well cared-for. Lots of books, toys and games were provided for the garden and the house, so many that our 5 year old didn't even unpack his own toys and books! The village where the house was located had a little playground and a tiny library in the old bus stop - in case you ran out of toys, books and games which is unlikely. The house was well stocked with utensils, toilet rolls, kitchen consumables like foil and food bags, and everything you could need.A big dishwasher was useful, there is also a washing machine with all the cleaning materials, tablets, washing liquid, etc provided and a great big fridge freezer.Beds and bedding were comfortable. Large gravel driveway was big enough for 2 family cars but also plenty of on road parking on the quiet cul de sac. Many lovely places within a 15-45 minute drive. Owners contactable and responsive. One of the best holiday properties I've stayed in and such attention to detail.
