We were a party of 3 couples visiting Castleton for the first time for a shorter break to celebrate a significant birthday Mullions Cottage was a fabulous place to stay for our holiday. The photos of the cottage do not do the place justice. It is a superb place to stay with amazing features. We were so pleased with the cottage and location to the centre of Castleton. It was only a short walk to amenities such as pubs, Restaurants and shops. We ate all keen walkers and we walked to the caverns and also onto the moors and hills direct from the cottage. We would definitely recommend a stay at Mullions and would certainly rebook the cottage again.

A beautiful cottage situated in a perfect part of the village. Plenty of lovely walks and local pubs with excellent food choices. Highly recommended.

Found all the family photographs around the house very eerie. Also all cushions, duvets and most pillows were feather which I am very allergic to, it would have been good to know before so that I ensured I had enough anti histamines Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

At that price we’d expect some form of welcome pack, and more than one match to light a fire. But there was only one log anyway, no kindling or firefighters. Cold on arrival so this was a frustration. So a poor ‘welcome’. We got over it, though, and much enjoyed our stay. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

What a beautiful cottage in a lovely location, just what the family needed! Perfect for exploring the area, but on the edge of the town so not affected by the high number of visitors, but close enough to enjoy all that Castleton has to offer!! We visited this cottage to celebrate two leap day birthdays 6 and 14 !. It was perfect for our needs. Great location with lovely views over the Hope Valley. The weather was cold but the heating in the cottage was fine and the log burner very cosy. On road parking wasn't a problem and there was very little noise from the road. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for the four of us. Plenty of places to eat and drink a short walk away. Local shop was very accommodating and had all we needed for the short stay. Did make much use of the outside spaces due to the weather but there would have been lovely in the summer. Access was very straight forward.
