Stayed Feb 26, 2026What a find this place was. It had exactly what we needed. 10 minute walk to all local pubs and other amenities also the local caves. You can park your car and not use it if you want although we went by car to Edale, Bakewell and Buxton and took in the stunning views on the way. The cottage had everything that we needed with the comfiest bed possible and super shower. Nice large telly and WiFi made for some cosy nights in. Not ideal for older guests due to the spiral staircase. Our first time to the Peak District and would definitely go back. Looking at booking the Mullions next door with friends in the near future. We went in January so it was quiet and a few places were closed but this is just what we had wanted from this break.

Stayed Sep 5, 2022The shower head seems to have a mind of its own. Spinning about when the water pressure hits.We tried to secure it but to no avail. Most annoying was the extractor fan running in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. After a couple of hours a good slap with the palm of my hand seemed to stop it .My husband is deaf and that night I wished I was.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A small and cosy cottage, ideal for a quick getaway in the countryside. Bit different with the lounge/kitchen area upstairs but the narrow spiral stairs are a bit of a mission! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Superb cottage, rural enough to be beautifully peaceful but within easy walking to the village centre. Fantastic views from the upstairs comfortable living area, well equipped kitchen for those who like to eat in. Overall superb little cottage in a wonderful location. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Always have a lovely stay. Photo's could do with updating to reflect reality. Much more comfortable than the old photos show, new sofa, work surfaces, new coat of paint. Excellent new sofa, so comfortable. Bridget always goes out of her way to ensure guests are comfortable as possible. Thank you Bridget, see you November 2020.
