Had a fabulous stay at Acorn Cottage. The owners were lovely and left little goodies like cakes, a welcome pack and treats for the puppy. The cottage was spotless and cosy warm. The local area had lots of walks which we enjoyed with the puppy. Will definitely be back. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We have been coming to Acorn Cottage for a number of years now. It has become a home from home! Spotlessly clean with everything you could wish for. Lovely village with two great pubs and a fabulous cafe at the bottom of the hill! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
Simply stunning cottage, owned by two lovely people Allison and Alan for whom nothing is too much trouble. We even received a welcome pack containing home made goodies which were delicious. Everything perfect, no complaints what so ever. Very well set up for the Covid-19 pandemic, every part of the cottage was spotlessly clean. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
We stayed for four nights with our daughter and her dog and thoroughly enjoyed our post lockdown experience at Acorn Cottage. Allison sent a very detailed message before we arrived which was very helpful, and Alistair was there to welcome us after the satnav gave us wrong directions! The cottage is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is very well equipped. Lovely bedding and plenty of towels too. The Welcome Pack was a treat (butter, milk, bread, bottle of wine and a huge tray of freshly made pancakes)! We ate twice at the Inn at Kippen; the food was excellent and the owners very friendly. Kippen is an excellent location for exploring the Trossachs and there are lots of very scenic walks within a short drive. We only had one small query which Allison responded to immediately as the owners live next door. We will certainly return to Acorn Cottage due to the standard of service and overall quality.
