Stayed Oct 23, 2021Excellent communication and service from the home owner from the very beginning to checking out at the end of our stay. An absolutely beautiful home literally 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of Stirling. When we arrived there were so many lovely touches to make us feel welcome, from the central heating being on and lamps in the living room and hall to greet us along with fresh flowers in several rooms and a bottle of wine and nibbles! The house is fully stocked for all your basics, from washing machine detergent, dishwasher tablets, enough loo rolls to last a family of six a week and a full and comprehensive set of kitchen utensils, pots, pans and crockery! It really is a lovely home in a fantastic part of Scotland. 40 mins train journey to Edinburgh and Glasgow and 30 mins car drive to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. Stirling is a beautiful city with the castle and local architecture through to a modern shopping mall with multiple high street stores for those who want to hit the high street. A week wasn't long enough so we will definitely be returning back to Allerton in a couple of years time!
