This traditional family home hasbeen renovated to an exceptional standard, with a spacious open-plan living area comprising a modern kitchen, dining room and cosy lounge. A wood-burner effect electric fire is on hand to keep you warm, while the TV, DVD and book selection ensure you stay entertained. Whatever the weather, you can drink tea, chat or read in the light-filled conservatory, or perch at the breakfast bar as you conjure up a plan for the day ahead. The large garden will be popular in fine weather, with a good-sized lawn and furnished patio that’s ideal for pre-dinner drinks and al fresco meals.

Blakeney is a gorgeous place to while away an afternoon, with its charming traditional buildings and atmospheric narrow streets. Wander along the high street to find shops, cafes and pubs within 0.5 miles, and head to the nature reserve for excellent walking and wildlife viewing opportunities. You can take seal-watching trips from the quay and, at the Cley Marshes Visitor Centre (2 miles), discover more about the local fauna and flora. If it’s a beach kind of a day, head to Salthouse (4 miles) or Wells-next-the-Sea (8 miles), which both have stunning shorelines and exceptional coastal landscapes.
