A lovely little property, ideal for 2, and in such an ideal location to discover the Highlands. Margaret and Brian are on hand if required but have honestly thought of everything you could need. Highly recommend!

Excellent property in guite surroundings, providing easy acess to local super market, excellent pub and other eating facilities if required. The position of the property provides easy access to surrounding visitor attractions and scope for those who enjoy walking and hiking. A special walk though woodland and along river allows access to the shore of Loch Ness within 40 minutes. The oweners of the property have given a lot of thought and attention to provide a well equiped and comfortable property for a holiday stay.

This was our third visit to Thistle Dubh and once again it was a great success. Our hosts are welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is well equipped with great attention to detail infact everything you could want is provided including a copy of the local TV listings. The cottage is very clean and warm and absolutely perfect even for my husband who is confined to a wheel chair. There are many interesting and beautiful places and the arrival of a new supermarket about a ten minute walk away makes self catering a pleasure, although there is an excellent pub close by if you don't wat to cook. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are already planning to return next year.

Good 2 wks in a lovely location and quiet , nice scenery . Margaret and Brian lovely even tho nxt door left us alone to get on with holiday but there if we needed them . We had a safe parking place for motorbike and plenty of room to store our gear . Had everything you need cooking etc. Would definitely recommend and go bk again . Thank you Margaret and Brian x

We had a lovely weeks stay in this well presented delightful holiday home. It is perfect for 2 and ideal if you are looking for some peace and quiet. It’s only a short walk into the village. Here you will find good local amenities and attractions. The owners have really made it a home from home. It was a lovely place to stay.

Absolutely amazing cottage we will certainly recommend staying here as it is a great base for exploring the highlands of Scotland.

First time for myself and my wife visiting the Loch Ness,will definitely be back and will be trying to book this cottage again,very comfortable,clean and tidy and the owners were great and couldn't do enough for us. Would thoroughly recommend. First class.
