(1) BEAUTIFUL SUMMER RENTAL Nr ACADIA NATIONAL PARK & BAR HARBOR!

We found the space to be comfortable and clean.

We liked the property overall. It is about 15-20 min from Bar Harbor town and Acadia main entrance. Couple minutes drive from Echo Lake beach if weather permits swimming. If you sensitive to sounds, the unit faces the main road, so car noise from early morning to late at night, supermarket around the corner, so it was very convenient. Overall, unit was clean, only couple things that we found some crumbs on sofa, some food leftovers in fridge, and some hair in kitchen cabinet and bathroom, and trash can was forgotten to empty also, we assumed that clean crew had a flip same day guests leaving and us coming and did cleaning on a hurry, as we saw a good reviews regarding cleaning. We spent a minimum time in the unit, so it was ok for us as an island stay. Back to noise, unit is on the first floor, so you have somebody living upstairs and when walking you can hear it clearly. So if you sensitive to noises would say look for other place to stay.

The property was wonderful, giving us the space we needed to relax and enjoy the area.

This was a wonderful condo rental located close to downtown Southwest Harbor. The condo was spacious, easily accessible from Main Street, and well appointed. Every little thing we could have needed was there waiting for us- even lunch boxes and ice packs for those long hikes in Acadia.

Located in Southwest Harbor, it is away from the mad house of Bar Harbor but not so far away as to be inconvenient. It allowed us to explore parts of Acadia that we might not have seen otherwise. The place was very clean and well equipped, my only major complaint was that the bed in one of the bedrooms was very uncomfortable. Other than that I would definitely recommend it. There is a small grocery store almost within walking distance and the downtown of Southwest Harbor looked cute, although we didn't explore it.

Very nice, quiet, clean place. Nicely equipped kitchen. Very nice convienent location. Close to market, close to southwest harbor.everything is new and nice. Would definately recommend and stay there again.

Perfectly as described, easy to drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia

Older unit in good condition with everything you need. Excellent communication from owner. Good location to be away from the crowds at Bar Harbor but close enough access the key sites of the Acadia area.

We had a great time! The location was perfect. We were able to go to Acadia and Bar Harbor Whale Watch!

This was a great place away from the business of Bar Harbor. It was very clean and had plenty of space.

Great stay!

My family stayed for 3 nights to check out Acadia. The rental was perfect for our family of 3, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was even a little grocery store less than a 1/4 mile down the road. It was about a 25 minute drive to get to most of the big Acadia sites since they are on the other side of the Island, like the Jordan Pond House, Thunder Hole, and Sieur De Mont.However, we considered that a good thing because it was much quieter and relaxing out in Southwest Harbor. We visited the last week of June so it was still early in the season, but the town of Bar Harbor was packed, same with each of the Acadia sites. Make sure you get out early if you want to get parking to go hike or see the sites, it got very busy by around 9am.

My daughter and I were visiting Mount Desert Island for the first time. This was s great location to access Acadia’s beautiful hiking, views, coast and towns.

Even though we drove to Bar Harbor just about every day, it was a short drive. The main purpose for our trip was to explore Acadia NP, and this location made it very easy. Southwest Harbor has a lot to offer, as well! This property suited us well.

Wonderful end unit (#1) with two nice bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Great location for exploration of Acadia National Park. Very clean and nicely upgraded.

Cute clean space, perfect for the amount of time we were at it. Walking distance to the grocery store. 3 minute drive to Southwest Harbor for restaurants and shops. Away from the crowds, but the road noise was noticeable at all times of days/night.

Nice area and we loved Bar harbor and the park. Restaurants had good food. Unit 1 was not clean upon our arrival. Beds were not completely made, table in living room was not put back in its place. Stove was dirty. The mirror in hallway was dirty and there was a hair tie hanging on it. The fan in bedroom was broken. The place smelled bad. Smelled musty. It did not feel homey.

I can’t think of a single thing they could improve on. Cottage was very clean. Kitchen was fully stocked. Convenient location. It was great to have grocery store and laundromat so close. And several restaurants in Southwest Harbor were less than 20 minutes away.
