Stayed May 16, 2022Plusses: 1. right on the bank of the Willamette R where we saw all manner of shipping and boating activity, 2. very pleasant owner who seemed to want to make our stay as pleasant as possible, 3. great walking along the river (think flat); we could walk 2.5 miles to the south to our favorite coffee shop; 4. condo was nicely laid out; 5. Portland is a nice city. 6. Covered dedicated parking. Minuses: 1. there is a homeless population some of which is located nearby. Never had a problem but it is sad to see, 2. Couch in living room has seen better days. There is railroad traffic across the bridge just to the south of the condo complex. We didn't mind the very slow moving trains but some might. All in all a great place to stay and I would definitely stay again if returning to Portland.

Stayed Oct 12, 2021Perfect location for access to walkable downtown Portland! The view of the river and Steel Bridge from the unit keeps one connected to the heartbeat of the City. The unit was equipped to meet every need - especially in the kitchen. The owners' communications were frequent, helpful, and responsive! Despite some of the turbulence Portland has experienced in the past year, the McCormick Pier residential area was inviting and secure. People were frequently walking the development's trails that connected to the entire Portland waterfront walkway system (both sides of the river). Do not miss the Saturday Market beneath the Burnside Bridge - always a special destination! We relocated recently to Portland from Kansas City and this unit was home to us for two months. We are avid home chefs and enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen that lacked for nothing during our stay. The on-site BBQ grill allowed us to keep up our habit of late-season grilling alive. My wife is also an avid baker and found all the necessary items in the unit's kitchen. While there is a wonderful patio with an inviting sitting area, fall in Portland is the rainy season and kept us from enjoying the outdoor space as much as we would have liked. We were very appreciative of Lisa and Bill who were terrific hosts. From start to finish of our visit, they were in touch and available to answer any questions or resolve any minor issues. Lastly - the proximity of the unit to the Pearl District was priceless! While COVID certainly impacts the restaurant and nightlife scene, the Pearl remains a gem in downtown Portland! Andina and Serratto were particular restaurant standouts. Grocery and wine/liquor stores are in easy walking distance. Our time spent in downtown Portland waiting for a newly constructed home will always have a special place in our hearts!

Stayed Jun 1, 2018The unit was as advertised. It had everything we needed for a comfortable month's stay. We like to eat in for most meals and the unit had what we needed to cook including a variety of spices. We loved watching the water traffic from the patio. There is a nice walkway steps away. It is a 5 - 6 minute walk to get to public transportation and a 15 minute walk to Safeway, the closest grocery store and less to Lovejoy Bakery. And Uber was very quick to respond whenever we called. But if you prefer to walk, Portland is very walkable. We found Lisa to be a very responsive owner. We are a senior couple and the condo definitely worked for us. We recommend it.

Stayed Mar 10, 2018We stayed in Lisa's rental for just over a month while moving to Portland. She was extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. The location on the water is beautiful, and is an easy walk to a bunch of great restaurants in the Pearl. I would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed Jun 28, 2017We enjoyed being able to access the waterfront esplanade right out of our door or patio, and had easy access to downtown. The Pearl District was also a short walk away, with access to a great fitness center, restaurants, microbreweries, and shops. The owner was very responsive to requests or minor problems during our stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I enjoyed my stay in this apartment. I especially liked the view over the river from the front room & from the terrace. I spent a good deal of time on the terrace, enjoying meals & watching the boats on the river. (Friends who came to visit enjoyed the view, too!) Another attractive feature of the condo is that it is very conveniently located for those who like walking or jogging on the path along the waterfront (just steps away), & anyone who is reasonably fit can easily walk to downtown Portland. I found the apartment generally comfortable & conveniently outfitted, furnishing everything that one could reasonably expect - & more. The kitchen was well-appointed (which was important to me, as I had guests over for some meals), & there were ample supplies of all sorts - cleaning supplies, bathroom items, dishes, a variety of spices, even scotch tape. The bed was comfortable, too. Lisa, the owner, was wonderfully kind & patient & helpful at every stage. I am not young & this greatly contributed to my enjoying my stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I stayed in Portland for a month and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The condo is situated right on the water and a short walk along the riverfront to the Saturday markets. It is also a short walk over to Union Station and you're right in the Pearl District, where there are tons of great shops, restaurants, and breweries. The fire pit was a nice ammenity, which I used on a couple occasions. Everything is within walking distance from this condo and it is well stocked too. There is a corner market for any additional items you may need. I like running and it was really nice to walk out the front door and the riverfront path is right there! This place can't be beat.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My group of 3 had a great time at Lisa's condo in Portland. We were provided a queen air mattress at our request, and this will now be available for future guests (it's self-inflating and very comfortable!). The location is beautiful as it sits right by the river. We spent almost every late evening outside by the fire pit with a few beers. The location is great for walking almost anywhere in Northern Portland. We needed a car for a ski trip, so the free covered parking spot was very appreciated and very close to the condo. A couple of my local friends stopped by for a few drinks, and they were very impressed with the digs. I highly recommend staying here! Our hosts were very accessible via email, and all instructions were very minimal and straightforward.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our first trip to Portland, and the condo location worked perfectly for us. We enjoyed using public transportation and had ready access for all the sights we had planned...and a few we hadn't. The water with tugs, barges and pleasure boats made for great viewing. Lisa and Bill were very helpful when we had a few questions. Between perfect weather, location and lots to do it was a memorable trip!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This beautiful condo is just as pictured & it was very clean. The bed is very comfortable to sleep on. We had a few relatives come by for dinner on our last nite here (we stayed 3 nites) & they all raved about the view & location right on the river. We walked to the Saturday Market (very nearby) as well as around the Pearl District & downtown. It was our first trip to Portland & we would definitely come again & stay here! Highly recommend. Thank you!
