    We stayed for a long weekend in mid October and absolutely loved the property. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Great location! Property just as described and we certainly recommend and will stay again asap.

    Overall vacation was great! Easy access to amenities and nice condo. Area outside the gates was a bit sketchy - I would recommend Publix and not Walmart.

    The bathroom attached to the master bedroom has a crack in the tub and cannot be used. We only learned this about 48 hours before check in. The Wi-Fi was changed prior to our visit and would only work for a few minutes before losing signal. Vascasa did a great job getting us a hotspot for the remainder of our stay. Overall beautiful property and location, just upset over the issues.

    The property itself is great. You can tell it's been remodeled at some point, and for the most part they did a good job. There's some minor issues that need attention, like the kitchen faucet soap dispenser, and the retractable facucet head that doesn't stay put. The kitchen trash can automatic lid doesn't work, and needs replacing. Other than that everything was great. The views are wonderful, and the complex in general is a great location and very quiet. Vacasa is the group that manages this property and they left a little to be desired. There communication is plentiful through text, but reaching on the phone is difficult, and there is an obvious language barrier at times. Everyone was friendly, but you aren't speaking with someone local. The main issue we had was the code to enter the unit. We were give a 10 digit phone number multiple times as the code instead of the 4 digit code the door actually required. I NEVER actually received the code, I just happened to figure it out. When you can't check in early, and you have to, purchase, a late check out, you want to maximize your time at the actual until when you're only staying 2 nights. The hour plus delay, and Vacasa NEVER actually sending me the correct code caused a lot of unnecessary stress and frustration.

    When I first checked in there were some minor things. A bug smashed on the wall with blood around it, a pot under the sink catching water, the dishes were all dirty and covered with butter or oil and then the kitchen cabinets all smelled of mildew. These were all Little but annoying things. We were here for a dance nationals and I purposely didn’t stay at a hot so I had my own washer and dryer. But the dryer was broke! I let them know that on Sunday! I had hardly any communication from them, I had to keep following up. Noone ever attempted to fix it, their only solutions was for me to go to a laundromat on our vacation?! With little time to spare. I had to go buy clothes and towels. We didn’t want to over pack since we would have access to the washer/ dryer. I do fully expect some sort of compensation- but still no one from vacasa has reached back out

    Nails were sticking up on the steps and the strip between the floor in the downstairs bathroom. There was a large crack in the glass in the master bedroom door to the balcony. There was a pot filled with dirty water under the sink which was catching something that was leaking. The screen was broken on the downstairs porch. We could not use the pool and the workers were blasting their music. We were told they were not supposed to be rented out at this time and another person we spoke to got a P discount. So didn’t we?

    We love & have stayed at Mariners Cay for decades. Listing stated Please note that construction will be taking place until January 2023. Once we booked, email confirmation did state: Also as an FYI, the property presently is undergoing a $9 million update. Maybe we are dense, but we had no idea how disruptive that would be. The entire property is consumed w/ the renovations/ hardie plank piles, concrete drilling & demo (noisy), we had to climb around workers on the stairs up to our condo (not faulting them, they were just doing their jobs), marina view from our living room included workers on scaffolding one day!); pool NOT open. That said, the new siding and paint, new windows, railings all look wonderful & we will be back again but not until all construction is complete. Vacasa communication was excellent; condo was refreshed with new linens, chair cushions, paint. Very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. Fabulous dolphin watching; one day there were several right up against the bank feeding and flipping.
