Villa Bahia Penthouse Harbor View B45 and Golfcart

This place is great. The view of the harbor is amazing from both balconies and it is very comfortable inside. Only downside for us was all the stairs. There are stairs to get in the unit and a flight inside. Certainly doable but my arthritic knee was doing a lot of complaining. Nonetheless a beautiful and comfortable clean place with a view. Well done.

This property is priced very reasonably! Good location, close to everything and property is well stock with the kitchen necessities ! Most importantly this property comes with your own transportation! Golf cart no need to rent ! Well recommended and will come back soon.

The condo was neat and inviting. Perfect for my family of 5. The washer/dryer was a nice amenity to have. Only con is that the elevator is in the back of the complex, so i had to lug a stroller up a few stairs before getting to the elevator. The golf cart wouldn't start and we contacted Catalina Yamaha Golf Cart as instructed by Craig and Kim. Mike came out quickly, towed the cart, fixed the problem (ignition wiring) and had the cart parked back in its stall within a couple hours. I highly recommend using the cart; although, the seat belt is still broken as mentioned in a previous review. All things considered, it was a great stay at the Bahia Vista and I would book this location again.

Plenty of space. Open and inviting. Nice views. Many Items need addressing:-Refrigerator filters both need replacing-Light bulbs in many spots need replacing-Dark living room in evening due to no lamps-Dryer vent not connected to exterior. Interior of closet becomes damp-Light over stove does not work-Fireplace needs safety glass repair-no chairs on upstairs balconies!-no mention of unit being multilevel. Not a good surprise!-golf cart unavailable for over half of our visit!-poor communication of cart location. Also two license plates are posted. Frustrating. The pool was very nice to have available.

The location of the condo building was excellent - just a couple blocks from the grocery store and from the heart of town and the waterfront - on a hill overlooking town. the condo itself is one of the nicest in the building with great open air and views of town and the water. Plenty of space for 4 to 6 people and all of the furniture, kitchen and other stuff you need. Very comfortable. Having use of the golf cart was really really convenient for exploring the island, going to the grocery store, dealing with luggage and going in to town for lunch/dinner. The hosts were incredibly easy to communicate with and were extremely helpful - they were nice enough to let us check in early and check-out a little late as well. Avalon/Catalina is definitely a must-visit spot with incredible crystal-clear water and an almost European vibe different than mainland Cali. My 20-something kids and their plus-ones and my wife and I had a really great trip!

Good location. Golf cart is a plus, but unfortunately can not be left close to the condo so you still have to walk to get it and drop it off in order to use the golf cart. The place is comfortable, but could use a deep cleaning. Noted the shades in the bedroom falling off, lots of dust and spider webs. The screens for the slider doors falling off, not very functional. Beautiful views from the patio. Enjoyed having the air fryer. Would stay again.

Everything is close by in Avalon. Easy to walk to restaurants and tour locations.

Nice and close to downtown. The cart is fabulous to have access too. Makes for a more fun stay.

The property was perfect for our family. Very clean, quite, plenty of towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. Everyone enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The cart was an extra bonus because it came with it’s on parking space in town so we didn’t have to worry about moving it.

This property is a split level. There are about 16 stairs before you arrive at the elevator. Once inside the Condo there are 6 to 8 stairs to the main floor, an additional 8 stairs to the first landing, and 6 more stairs to the bedrooms. The condo was clean and stocked with many amenities (wagon with beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys), lots of towels and more. Quiet location, nice pool and hot tub. The biggest plus of this rental was the golf cart that was included with the rental. Family member with walking limitations was able to make it to all island events because of the golf cart. Needed to contact the owners during our stay and the response was pleasant and immediate. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Location was very convenient to everything. Included golf cart ended up not being necessary due to you are not able to take it out of the city which is very walkable. Upon arrival we took photos of what needed repairs, etc. and Kim was great with communication.Would rent the unit again.

We were a family of 4 visiting the island for the first time. The house was in a great area and had everything we needed. The golf cart was so nice to have.

Excellent property. Very clean and well maintained.

We had never been to Catalina, so really did not know was to expect. The weather cooperated & we had three days of charm, great food & hospitality from the island community. The island offers SO much from, water sports to American history & everything in between, including buffalo. We did not have enough time, but that’s good as we will plan a return visit next year.

Quick get away with Mom and sister! Quiet and close to town. Too short of visit so will have to come back!!

This condo was truly one of the best units we have stayed in at The Bahia Vista! Only drawback is the jacuzzi is not heated during the week in winter.

The place was wonderful! This was our first experience with VRBO and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had and was very accomodating to making it a wonderful stay for us. Highly recommend staying here!

This was a delightful, clean place to stay with wonderful views. The golf cart was a huge bonus. Condo is large with a well equipped kitchen. If you like soft mattresses you will sleep well. Communication with host was excellent.

Great location, walkable, the golf cart was a very nice added bonus. Love having the outside balcony and great views. Very nice pool and Jacuzzi. Vons grocery store was close by where we were able to cook dinner one night. But all the restaurants went to were awesome.
