Stayed Nov 24, 2019Great condo in a nice location. Nice home away from home for several weeks. Dedicated off street parking spot was definitely a bonus in NW Portland.

Stayed Jul 18, 2016Great experience spending a month in Slabtown at Ellen's condo. Everything was within walking distance - shops, supermarkets, cafes with outdoor seating, cinema, yoga studio - and the streetcar right outside in case of longer trips. The condo was small but extremely well equipped and Ellen was very responsive for any questions we had. As a cook, I was pleased that cooking tools and utensils were all provided. With the proximity of the farmers markets cooking was a pleasure. With the windows open there was a lovely cooling breeze even on hot summer days. All good.......

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had fantastic stay in Portland and were so happy with our choice with NW Lovejoy. Fantastic Traits - Efficient space - everything you need laid out efficiently Well appointed - all aspects in wonderful working order Convenience - We were able to walk everywhere. Rose Garden, Washington Park, Pittoc Mansion, downtown, zoo. Quality restaurants, coffee spots and pubs right out the front door. Laundry available. Public transportation literally right out the front door. Reasonably priced Things to work on - SO HOT - There is a large fan but with windows on one side only there is nowhere for the air to go. Hard to sleep at times. A ceiling fan would be helpful. Cleanliness - Tub, stove top, floors, and comforter not totally clean. I would recommend that the owner check in with the cleaning service. Normal supplies - no toilet paper in the unit We had a fantastic time and would rent again

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I needed to stay in Portland for 6 weeks and could not drive. The location (across the street from light rail) and easy walking distance to stores and restaurants made the condo perfect for me. Friends used the included parking slot when they visited. The condo is well stocked with basics and even came with plastic wrap. Comfy bed, nice towels, roomy closet, fun dishes! Having a laundry in the basement was convenient. The owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive when a light bulb burned out. A good place for a longer stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We rented this condo for the purpose of experiencing downtown Portland to see if we really want to move there from suburbia. The condo is well equipped, so the only thing we needed to bring was clothes and personal items. It worked well for the 2 of us, as we spent a great deal of time out exploring and taking in all the sounds, people and sights. We ate several meals in the condo as there are 5 grocery stores within a 20 minute walk or less. There's a coffee pot, but with 3 really good coffee shops within a block or less you might just want to stow the pot and go out for coffee. Restaurants for whatever food you fancy within 10 minutes or less. At least 8 brewpubs within 15 minutes. Virtually no noise from within the building, but the noise is noticeable from the I-405 with the windows open - which they were all the time due to a warm month. The white noise machine came in handy at night. The unit is in good condition and Ellen was very responsive to any of our requests. If you want to explore further than on foot the streetcar is right out front. You can buy a daily pass that covers the streetcar, light rail and bus. Don't forget to take some hikes in Forest Park, almost 80 miles of trails.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I have stayed over for almost 7 weeks while I was doing a training in a PCC college. Not easy to find an apartment from over sea but I can tell that I was very happy of my choice From the first day I arrived until the last day of my stay everything went well. Easy to find and the communication with the landlord was very clear The apartment is well located, well furnished I had everything I needed even more ! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need The appartement is also well located you can go everywhere very quickly and you have all you need around your door : close to downtown, close to the NW23rd street (very vibrant neighborhood) , not far from the willamette river and close to the zoo and OMSI. Very easy to go to the rose garden too Will definitely return to this place !

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great studio apartment in great location. The description of the listing regarding the property was accurate and Ellen was very responsive to all my questions. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was extremely well equipped for nights in. Good location - near plenty of restaurants, pubs and Supermarkets (Safeway, Trader Joes and City Market) all within a few minutes walk. The Streetcar stops right outside the property and at $1 for a two hour ticket is an excellent way to get around the city although I only used it two times (weather) during the five week stay. Walking to anywhere downtown was so easy from this rental. Condo was clean and well maintained. Definitely recommend this property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were lucky enough to stay in this NW Lovejoy condo for a month, and it couldn't have been more perfect for our trip. Although it was a studio, it was a great layout and had plenty of room for the two of us. Everything we needed was provided in the condo, including kitchen amenities, lovely fluffy towels, even coffee! The location was ideal- the streetcar stops directly out of the front door, but we were also well within walking distance of NW 23rd, the Pearl, and plenty of fun neighborhoods with great restaurants and shops. Ellen was easy to work with and responded quickly to my (many) questions throughout the process! We are hopeful that we will be able to return again.
