Great location and equipped with everything we needed

We absolutely loved our stay at The Carolina! It was beautiful and clean. Parking in Charleston can be difficult to find, so having access to the parking garage was a huge bonus. The location couldn’t have been better—we only needed the car when leaving town and enjoyed walking everywhere else. Keep in mind that being in a very central part of town you will be able to hear some of the hustle and bustle from the street below at times. That didn’t bother us though. We will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity!!

Host was very welcoming. The place was very cute, clean and quaint. But when looking for a place to stay downtown we sought out a hottub. There were only two available. This one said it had one. It did not. When I asked about it I was told it had a jacuzzi tub. Definitely not the same. And the post said hottub and jacuzzi tub. This ad should not be advertising a hot tub at all. Very deceiving.

The best location! The host, Matt, easy to communicate with and very responsive. The suite very clean and comfortable. Look forward to staying again in the future.

I would absolutely recommend this place. We were there for a stay during the week. We never say another person on our floor or in the elevator. One night there was very loud music from a Salsa Dancing event but it was over by bedtime. I can imagine that the living area on the street side could get loud on the weekend and if someone had to sleep on the couch that could be a tough situation. Everything else was perfect!

Fantastic location and perfect getaway. The space was super clean and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and loved the tub. Would definitely come back.

Fantastic little VRBO and perfect size for our girl’s weekend away. Loved the exposed brick, small kitchen but had everything we needed. The keurig cups were much appreciated. Comfy bed. The VRBO is right in the heart of the historic district and walkable to bars, restaurants and sites. Excellent communication with the owner and gave us a late checkout to accommodate our later flights! The only knocks are the entrance off the street is dark at night and a little uncomfortable for 2 women alone. And the VRBO is above a restaurant/bar and the one night we cashed it in early, their music went on until 1 am. Otherwise, loved our weekend in Charleston!

Perfect place for my son and I to stay for our college visit to the College of Charleston. It gave him a feeling of what it would be like living close to campus, yet we were in the heart of it all- Shopping, great food, carriage tours, market, etc! The place was very clean and bed comfy! We will be back to stay here during our next visit down!

The Suite itself was very nice. Spacious, clean and very nice ammenities. The entrance is awful. Arrived at night and there are no lights around the elevator entrance. very cramped area where the door glass id banging against the gas valve. Also the entrance is righ by where the resturant garbage is located and every time you come and go you are standing right next to garbage. The outdoor patio can't really be used because of the private event associated with the resturant on the 1st and 2nd floors.

Beautiful property which is much prettier than the pics! The location is fabulous and right in the middle of the action. The apartment is decorated beautifully and quiet. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and harbor. Must try FIGS, directly across the street, with the best food ever!! Also Hymans Seafood is excellent and highly recommend. There is a good and convenient Mexican restaurant directly below property. Owner was very communicative. Would highly recommend staying here.

The Carolina suite was perfect. Location, size, management, everything. We cannot say enough about the unit or Matt(the manger). We will be reserving this property again to visit our child at CofC.

This condo is located within walking distance to so many places. We loved it and would definitely stay here again. Great condo!

This property was perfectly located in the heart of historic Charleston...very walkable to historic sites and restaurants alike. The property was clean and perfectly appointed for the two (2) of us. Great communication with the property manager (Matt).Two (2) Keurig coffee pods were provided.We were a few blocks (walking distance) to Harris Teeter (Kroger) so we were able to get additional K-cups, tissues (none provided), and anything else we thought we might want/need.On our 2nd day we bumped into housekeeping who offered additional towels or supplies if needed.Check-in is not until 3:30pm. We had not initially planned to rent a car, but since our flights arrived closer to noon we opted for the extra expense and flexibility so we didn't have to drag our luggage around instead...a parking garage in next door (24/day) at the Charleston Place.The only question/concern we had during our stay was the elevator that goes front the street level to the 3rd floor. Documentation showed it had not been inspected since 2019. While there was a sign posted that said to expect the trip to take 45-60 sec, the elevator did (at times) seem to have a mind of it's own opening then closing the doors before it was fully opened and passengers boarded.Overall it was a nice weekend get away and we would recommend.

Overall: A great place to stay and even better location. Central to everything and the room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay in location next time we come up.

Great location with everything we needed to enjoy a few days leading up to Christmas. Excellent location for walking. We walked to all the sights and enjoyed the Christmas decorations and window shopping, The horse drawn carriages lead Christmas carols - great holiday spirit. Of course fabulous restaurants and a fun night at a local theater. What a great place the stay for creating holiday memories!

Delighted to find this apartment in an ideal location to explore Charleston. Lovely, spacious and clean. Initially had difficulty getting hot water but this was soon resolved.

The only thing we would change….nothing!!! Would go back again in a heartbeat.

Everything was great! Super clean, neat and organized. The apartment was very cool - a lot of nice exposed brick, beautiful hardwood flooring, a cozy bedroom leading to a spacious bathroom area, and lots of natural sunlight in the dining and kitchen areas. The location was perfect - right in the middle of downtown Charleston within close walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Matt, the property manager, was great - very attentive and responsive throughout the process. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and experience! Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful apartment right in the middle of Charleston. Perfect location to everything Charleston has to offer and we were able to walk everywhere. Property had everything we needed and was very clean. Would definitely come back the next time we visit Charleston .

The Carolina Suite was absolutely perfect for our four night stay in Charleston. The description of the apartment is spot on…we were able to walk to almost any restaurant…in case you don’t like walking Uber (or Lyft) was readily available. The apartment was clean and comfortable…and mostly quiet…loved the turtle speed elevator !

We really enjoyed our stay. The space was clean, spacious for 2, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect and walkable to everything we wanted to see in Charleston! Absolutely recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Loved the suite layout and apartment-like privacy. Beautifully appointed. Close to everything in downtown. Parked car in adjoining garage and didn’t drive anywhere until we left. Will visit again and try to get this same suite!
