Stayed Oct 17, 2023Our hostess was very friendly and informative. She answered all of our questions. She even brought over some logs and a fire starter log so we could have a fire on a cold night. The only thing we were not aware of was the amount of steps in condo. There are 3 levels. We only used 2 of the levels. My husband is recovering from total knee and that was a challenge for him. Our room was on first floor. The kitchen and living room are on 2nd floor so he was able to stay on that floor most of the time. I would recommend this condo.

Stayed Jan 15, 2026Meribeth has provided a really great place. Clean, well equipped. It is close to Swain ski hill (but it would be a bit difficult to walk to) and there are loads of games for the kids to play. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Only stayed one night but the property was as advertised, clean and comfortable. Would stay again if in the area. Only downside was the address provided in VRBO email three days before arrival took us to the wrong location and there was no building or unit number provided. It was a bit frustrating trying to find the condo complex but once I messaged Maribeth she answered quickly with all the info and also called to be sure we found the place and let us know it was ready for us to check in.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025The property was clean and the owner was very attentive. The location and accommodations are about the best you can expect in Swain, NY. We did not have any discomfort during our stay and everything went smoothly.I’ll note that there is no hot tub even though it’s listed in the property description.Also, there is no central air conditioning, but rather a single mini-split system in the 2nd floor.Overall, great stay!Thank you, Maribeth.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024Very nice property close to Letchworth State Park and StonyBrook State Park. Plenty of room for our large family of 7. It was clean and we were very comfortable! Make sure to stop at a grocery store if you need it on your way. There aren’t really any stores nearby.
