Summerhouse 305 by Wild Dunes, Oceanfront

We recently stayed a week in this condo and had a great time at Wild Dunes. The condo itself has a great view of the pool (perfect to keep an eye on the kids!) and ocean, and has a nice large balcony. It's actually a couple condos back from being directly oceanfront but is positioned at an angle so that you don't feel like it - the view is just great, and it's a very easy & short stroll to the beach. The furniture in the condo is average (no big deal). You will also notice that the pictures provided on this site show carpet, but the condo is actually 100% tile -- kind of a pain because you are always sweeping/vaccuuming up sand and it can get slippery, but I can understand why an owner would do that. The only complaint I had is we didn't have sheets provided for the pullout couch, and there was an electrical outlet without a cover in the dining room (unfortunately, I didn't notice until my 1 year old shocked herself). We replaced it with one from the bedroom that was behind furniture. Both issues were easily resolved. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook for the week. Summer House is not incredibly close to the main hotel and other pools but just a short bike ride away. I actually enjoyed being away from the slightly more crowded areas, but overall you can't really beat the amenities for families at Wild Dunes. We had a great vacation and would come back again!
