Summer Wind on the Beach

The property was incredibly clean and easy to locate with the instructions provided. Host also recommended great local restaurants to try!

Property is slightly dated, but perfectly functional. We had a wonderful stay. No elevator, but there is a motorized basket to lift heavy luggage so you don't need to carry it upstairs. We are already planning to return in the fall.

My husband and I had a great stay at Summer Wind! The condo was very cozy and was everything we needed. The place was clean and very accurate to the description. We were so appreciative that linens and towels were provided with our rental-- it made it easy for us to arrive and enjoy our stay! We loved that there were games for rainy days (perfect for families). I also loved that the main bedroom has a sliding door to the ocean balcony- you can hear the ocean from your bed! Tom, the host, was very communicative! The condo is located just a walk away to our favorite restaurant (Goombays), and a short drive to grocery stores, souvenir shops, coffee shops, mini golf, and more. We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our anniversary and visit to OBX!

This was a great location for our family. Our 3 and 5 year olds couldn’t spend all day on the beach so it was an easy walk to and from beach, multiple times a day. Beds were very comfy and condo was clean. Toys and puzzles in the closet were great when the boys needed a break from the sun. Owners responded quickly to my questions. Would definitely stay here again!

My son and his friend stayed for the week. Great location steps from the beach. Close to two large grocery stores, restaurants and activities. Super clean, great kitchen and a little space between you and the kids. One of the best stays we have had in the outter banks and we have been going for almost 10 years.

Everything was just as stated in the listing. Condo was clean and had everything you could want for a vacation stay. Enjoyed breakfast on the porch every morning watching the waves! Host was very nice and accommodating. Would return!
