Steps to the Beach - Spacious Condo with Amenities

This is a five star rental in every way. We had great communication with the owner who was very responsive to all messages. The condo was bright and cheery with a nice beachy vibe and obviously very well cared for. It was immaculately clean with a very nice open floor plan. Nice sized kitchen fully stocked with anything you would need to prepare a nice dinner. Very nice appliances. Large L-shaped balcony with lots of seating. Great central location in OBX. Close to lots of restaurants and stores. Steps from the beach. We plan on returning on next year!

This was a nice condo and very comfortable. We would certainly stay again. Our host was perfect.

This home was the PERFECT spot for a family. Both bedrooms were very large, and having 2 bathrooms was clutch after returning from the beach. Everything was as advertised. The kitchen was stocked with all the dish and cookware needed to prepare and serve meals. The location was perfect with great restaurants and an ice cream shop next door, and a quick walk to the beach. The deck was awesome with lots of seating, and was the perfect place to start and end the day. Everything was extremely clean and well taken care of. We would absolutely book Sweet & Salty again!

A wonderful rental - good layout and location. The beach access was very convenient, as was the Ten O Six restaurant and Holy Cow Creamery right next door. Large outdoor deck with a nice picnic table was the perfect spot for breakfasts and dinners (with lunches at the beach!). Having access to the elevator helped with bringing all of our stuff up and down.

Great location. Could walk to the beach. The bistro and ice cream shop next door were a great bonus. Beach towels would have been great to have been provided, but we were able to pick some up at a local store. Our family of 5 (3 adult children) had a great time.

Great condo. Clean, close beach access. Even closer ice cream access! We had a great time.

Place was located in a wonderfully. Internet was super slow and would not stream for my 98 year old mother. Shower: hot water ran out quickly. But all in all it was a nice place.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very spacious and clean property. The porch area was a great place to hang out with our family! Will definitely be staying again next year.

Visited Kill Devil Hills during Memorial Day weekend and had a relaxing stay at Sweet & Salty. Condo was well furnished, and more than adequate for our group of 4. There was a minor issue with the elevator not being able to call from the 2nd or 3rd floor but our host was very communicative and explained a work around. Thanks for a great trip!

We booked this property on short notice and it couldn't have been more perfect! Centrally located to shopping and entertainment. We loved being so close to the beach. The condo itself was equipped with games and a beautiful kitchen. I would give this place a 100 out of 10! We are looking at returning next year and will be booking this property again.

This property was perfect for our stay in the Outer Banks. We'd planned for 4 nights but liked it so much that we added a 5th. This adorable condo has 2 BRs and 2 BAs. The BRs are on opposite ends of the condo which is perfect. Between them is a wonderfully open kitchen, dining area, and living room. The impression is of a comfy hang out and lounging space. And it's bright. Even on a cloudy day, this corner unit gets great light. There is a sliding glass door from living room to private deck/porch and we took advantage of relaxing there and enjoying the breeze. Bed was comfy and we slept like logs. Kitchen is stocked with everything one might need, down to the little touches of sponge and dish soap. Beach is right across the street. Building was quiet. Parking super easy. We were very happy with the condo and used the convenient location to check out lots of restaurants and most of the other towns around Kill Devil Hills. Coming back at the end of the day was almost like being at home. And James was quite responsive and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Sweet and Salty was a cozy, well-kept 2 bedroom condo on the 3rd floor, accessible be an elevator. It was stocked with the basic toiletries and necessities one needs to needs for comfort. It’s in a great location—close to everything but still private. Walking distance to a great ice cream spot and several eating establishments. We enjoyed our week and hope to come back!

It was a wonderful location for good food. The beach was a short walk. The condo was very clean and accommodating! Nice residents around us. Our whole family had such a great time!

Great location, great beach, great weather great week!

The unit was better than expected with attention to detail and high quality furnishings. Two minor observations: carpet in the elevator needs replacing and windows would benefit from a spring cleaning. Otherwise all else is first class.
