Stay @ Mermaid Cove - Coral

Location was great. Unit was clean but basic. When we checked in we had 2 issues. First, it smelled terribly of Indian food. Property managers said they did not notice it. Impossible.Tried airing it out and buying Febreeze. Better after 3 days but still reeks. Also the thermostat was locked on heat. Got that working on day 2 with the help of my boyfriend who is handy. Property managers knew of this issue when we checked in so it should have been mitigated. Most of the building was empty so I would have appreciated proactively with this stay and being put in a different unit.

Had a great time staying at Mermaid Cove. Great ocean views from living room and bedroom; bed was comfy. Location was top notch; a block to Bart's Market, to the fishing pier and to all the restaurants and stores in Folly. Can walk onto beach from building. Easy parking. The management company was very responsive; somehow I was sent the wrong code to check in and when I called, they were able to resolve it within just a couple of minutes. i don't know if the gal next to me was particularly loud, but could hear her in living room (shared wall) but not in the bedrooms, so all good. A terrific stay and I hope to return!

Beach front ocean view. Clean and nice. I have one complaint about the right side of the sliding door must have a bad seal between the 2 pieces of glass because it was very dirty, couldn’t be cleaned, and obstructed the view.

The condo had such a great vibe, decor was very beachy,modern and clean. Starter amenities were super helpful (dish soap, dish washer pods, laundry pods...). It was so awesome staying on the beach. We enjoyed the New Year's Eve fireworks from the balcony and then a short walk to Center Street to watch the Flip Flop drop at midnight.We took advantage of bike rentals and ventured to Morris Lighthouse and took long walks on the beach to Folly Beach Park. The location is just perfect!We enjoyed two sunrises from our balcony, we haven't see a sunrise in a while.What a great unit to stay in!

Property was cool, clean and neat on arrival. Host was responsive within moments when needed. Beach view and access is 1000%, spacious parking spots. Unit is a very short walk to town and pier. No elevator or enclosed beach gear storage area on property.

Mermaid Cove quickly became a favorite! We loved watching dolphins every morning from the balcony and being able to walk straight out to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The only small issue we had with the screen door was fixed right away by Dunes Properties. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay! The condo was clean and bright with a great view of the beach and the pier. We loved being able to walk to everything and never having to worry about parking. We hope to return again!

Excellent place in a great location

Immaculate, beautiful and comfortable condo in a perfect location on Folly Beach! As others have mentioned, the condo is within walking distance of fun restaurants, shopping, Bert’s market and the Folly Beach pier! It’s also a quick and easy 20-40 minute drive to Charleston depending on traffic! Two couples stayed and loved the comfortable, king beds with en-suite bathrooms! Be sure to bring shampoo, body wash, etc. as minimal necessities like most beach condos in the South. That’s not a dealbreaker just need to plan ahead. We loved sitting out on the balcony enjoying our drinks and the ocean (never tire of the view and listening to the waves)! The host company and especially Charlie were professional and friendly. We had a hiccup with adding guests to the WiFi, and Charlie took great care of us! Thanks Charlie! Would highly recommend! We hope to stay again!

Great location! Clean and nicely decorated. Bed was a bit uncomfortable but I am on the picky side Steps from the beach and many close restraunts and shops.

Our stay at Mermaid Cove was perfect! Clean, updated condo with a beautiful view of the ocean. Walking distance to Bert’s Market and Center Street. Nicely stocked kitchen and comfortable beds and furnishings. We ate some delicious food and did some shopping. We will return!!

Perfect oceanfront location close to the pier, restaurants and Bert’s Market! Unit is very spacious and well equipped and has a large balcony to enjoy the view.

Clean and updated. Steps from the beach and close to everything on Center Street.

We were extremely happy with the location of the condo. The view of the beach was awesome and the short walk to good restaurants was a plus. The condo was beautifully decorated and we hope to be back again.

This was such a fabulous spot for our fun girls trip. Really couldn't ask for a more prime location. A block away from a grocery store, walking distance to all the shopping, restaurants, beautiful pier and all the fun. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, the view is incredible. We loved our stay. The ONLY negative about this unit is it is on the 2nd floor and we could hear every footstep of the people staying above us on the 3rd floor which would wake us up in the mornings and hear it late at night. Credit for beach chairs and umbrellas was great and we appreciated having those. Overall wonderful stay!
