Sleeping Bear Condo - Downtown Helen, GA

We had a great stay & looking forward to our next stay.

Our family enjoyed the stay at this condo. Everything was near walking distance except for the zip lining and Helen Tubing. You could walk to the tubing area, but it is quite a walk. We forgot to pack our coffee, but there is a store within walking distance next to the condo. It was very quiet at night. We will definitely stay there again for future Helen trips.

Didn’t use the hot tub as it was so cold outside but appreciated that is was on and hot when we arrived.House location was perfect for walking to restaurants, bars and shopping.Loved the decor. Christmas decorations were especially appreciated

The accommodations were spacious and in a great location. The host had the interior decorated for Christmas, which was awesome since we were celebrating a family Christmas..

We loved our stay in this cabin. The cabin has three master bedrooms and an additional room with two twin beds. The location was excellent! We loved the porch areas. The host was very quick to respond to our questions and easy to work with. We will def book again next year!

Our host was very responsive and the house was clean! We had no issues however, there are a lot of stairs. Two rooms on the first floor and two rooms on the third floor sucked for arthritic knees. Three rooms have private bathrooms and the king room on the first floor is setup as a mother in law suite but the twin room would need to share the bathroom. My only complaint about the condo is the windows have blinds but no curtains so all the night lights and early sun makes the rooms very bright. Overall this is a great place to stay, walking distance to everything in Helen and short drive to hiking paths.

Great location for accessing the town of Helen. The unit was very clean and ready to enter upon our arrival in town. Oktoberfest is always a good time to visit. We would certainly be willing to rent again in the future. While in town, I would recommend avoiding the Two Tire Tavern.

We had the best time. The condo was very accommodating for my family. It was right in the middle of town. Great Walking distance to everything. Each family member was able to have their own room. The beds were very comfortable. This is a very beautiful place and the host was very reachable and courteous. I would be back again.

Great place to stay for a holiday weekend in Helen, GA. Main Street is right outside the condo. The Bakery across the street has wonderful pastries, Betty’s General Store has gifts and all your food needs, and the German town is decorated and festive!

This is year 10 for us coming to Helen for Oktoberfest and this is by far our favorite place. The unit is awesome, location is perfect and the owner maintains great communication. Definitely recommend!

Great place to stay in downtown helen

My sister & I and our daughters stayed at the Sleeping Bear condo for a girls trip. It was perfect - plenty of space for us to hang out and catch up, four nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, and so close to town! We walked everywhere we wanted to go. John was a great host.

Communication with the owner or property manager was great. When we got there the downstairs and main floor AC was out but they had it up and going within a hour. Someone came by to repair the hot tub which I did not know was not operating properly. They came while we were at dinner or while I was asleep. It scared me because it was not like that when we got there. The ice maker was also not working. But others than that we had a good time and enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location - cannot stress that enough. You literally will not need to drive once you arrive unless you are going outside of Helen. One of our travel members had recently had surgery and the downstairs area was absolutely perfect as stairs were challenging - it has a kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, screened in porch (with hot tub). The wraparound porch on the 2nd floor is to die for. Highly recommend!
