Seaside Delight | Access to Beach Boardwalk & Pool

Just as described in the listing. Nice location and we enjoyed our stay. Nicely decorated and comfy beds. Excellent water pressure in the showers. There is a road conveniently located behind the property that leads to a small parking area and beach access or you can access via nearby public beach access roads. You can purchase an annual beach parking pass for 12 at local gas stations and souvenir shops. The booking staff and management staff were super friendly, helpful and responsive. We will definitely refer to friends and stay again in the future.

The property itself was nice and clean when we arrived, and we were initially quite comfortable settling in. However, we immediately had trouble connecting to the internet. Though there were two TVs, only the one in the main living room was able to connect. We were told a new router would arrive the next day, but unfortunately, it never did.More concerning was the presence of roaches. At first, we noticed just a couple crawling around, and while that was unpleasant, we tried not to make a big deal of it. But the next morning, we found one crawling on my partner and another on my grandson’s bed. That was upsetting and unacceptable.We contacted VRBO, and I do appreciate how quickly and professionally they responded. Later that day, I came back from an outing to find a can of bug spray left on the counter, and shortly after, an exterminator arrived and sprayed the condo. That gave me some peace of mind, but the problem clearly wasn't fully resolved.I found myself unable to cook or leave any food out without roaches showing up almost immediately. Everything had to be sealed in ziplock bags, and I had to rewash dishes before using them, which was inconvenient and stressful. To make things worse, the next morning we were woken up by loud noises in the ceiling of the bedroom—heavy steps and scratching sounds, like something large was crawling around up there. Possibly a raccoon? It sounded big and made me very nervous, especially with my grandson in the condo.

For two of our four days, we had a water leak in the ceiling. We were moving and emptying a bucket and had the constant drip, drip, drip. Called four times. Water leak got worse. When we woke up the last day the whole hall floor was covered in water. My husband uses a cane and a slippery floor is the last thing he needs. Also much farther from the beach than it looked like in pictures! Drawer in kitchen would fall out when you opened it and it was the silverware drawer. Would never come back. Waiting on a partial refund but doubt we get it!

Although the unit has great potential, it seems either the owner or property manager chooses to ignore maintenance issues even in the peak season...not a good sign! Broken AC in the game room (for at least a month I was told); Almost every kitchen drawer broken; moldy shower curtains; shelves broken of the wall and laying there; paint falling off the ceiling; bunk bed later broken (kids had to dangerously climb outside of bed); blood stains on the pillows, coffee maker pot had a hole broken out of the glass, etc. Despite those things, we had good time. Thank you!

The unit was adorable, clean, spacious, and well maintained. The walk to the beach involves a drive and a very long boardwalk, with stairs. There is no elevator for handicapped accessibility to get to the unit. The proximity to the beach was grossly misrepresented.

This is a good place to stay. Clean and comfortable. The pool is nice. A little far from the boardwalk. Looks like they are replacing the flooring. We we're very pleased.

Our unit was clean and comfortable for our family of 5 (kids aged 5-10yrs old). It's a quiet community. Hot tub was much appreciated in the chilly Spring Break weather. Short walk to beach on private path for guests. We would gladly stay again. For the owner's consideration to bring up to management company: The kitchen drawers are the off hinges, paint peeling in shower, “heated” pool not working for a year now, according to groundskeeper. The stairwells and front door areas to the units need a power wash. Small cosmetics that make the difference. But fix the “heated” pool or remove that from the description. It was a selling point when we searched for places to stay.

The service from Silversands was awesome! Anytime we had to call they came. The condo on the other hand, was very run down and not very well taken care of. The complex itself really needs some tender loving care. They are having problems with raccoons, & you can hear them at night running around under the floors. The condo needs a good cleaning & new flooring in the living room/kitchen & bathrooms. We are not fussy people, but I wouldn't recommend staying here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our dogs at this property. The place looks exactly like the photos in the listing and felt like the overall value matched with their pricing. In general our winter trip to Port Aransas didn’t disappoint. It’s a nice, quiet getaway.

Going off the website photos we were very excited to stay at Seaside Delight. However, we were quite disappointed in the actual accommodations. The kitchen had a cupboard door falling off the hinges, multiple drawers that wouldn't shut or open correctly because of broken parts. The unit was not very clean, we actually had a very dirty q-tip laying on the sink vanity, as well as the living room area rug was extremely stained and filthy. There were used rags laying on the balcony, a large rug that was never laid down, just hanging over the balcony rails. Another thing that was disappointing was the bathtub jets didn't even work. The walkway to the beach is very rutted, you really need to walk with caution. Not to mention the environment as a whole is quite off putting, fences laden with trash and disguarded waste bins from the nearby hotel. The only reason I am giving this three stars is because we did have a place to sleep for a few days and the washing machine came in very handy.
