Bald Head Island Info: A private island, you can only get to by boat or ferry. You will leave your vehicle behind and cruise on the golf cart provided at the home. The island is approximately 5 by 2 miles. You can bike around the island in only an hour or two! Bald Head Island is home to the oldest Lighthouses in North Carolina. There are many nature hikes, wildlife watches, beach accesses, shops, restaurants, and activities.

    We were delighted with Seaglass. The second floor was so beautiful, and the enclosed Sun room with day bed was the favorite spot for noir kids.Fourth room (loft) very helpful and comfortable.The kitchen is well appointed. Great bathroom in primary room.Host/Service were kind and completely on hand when needed.

    Our two-week stay in the Seaglass condo at Timbercreek was absolutely unforgettable. It fit the three of us adults perfectly. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the marsh views—sunrise to sunset, every day offered a visual masterpiece. One evening we were even treated to a full rainbow arcing over the marsh, a memory we’ll treasure forever. The location couldn’t be better: a quick golf-cart ride to the marina, the market, and the beaches, yet we felt wonderfully peaceful and private. The condo itself is bright, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing island getaway. The pool is a nice option … and though we didn’t use it due to the cooler temps, saw it was super clean and well maintained. If you’re looking for a Bald Head Island retreat that combines breathtaking natural beauty with easy access to everything you need, Seaglass in the Timbercreek community is perfection.

    My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Seaglass. The house was extremely clean and well appointed. The marsh views from the glassed in sitting area were amazing. You could watch the tides change and a sandbar forming that attracted numerous seabirds. My children loved the kayaks and fishing off the dock. The community pool was well maintained and usually we were the only people there. I was also very impressed with the itrip communications. The week before the trip they reached out to give me contact information, codes, details of the stay, etc, and they followed up after our arrival to ensure everything was satisfactory. I would definitely stay at this property again.

    We can sum it up by saying that as long as our group is this size (6) and this property is available, we will stay here every year! We have stayed in multiple places on Bald Head, and, indeed, in multiple places at Timber Creek. Seaglass is beautifully renovated, especially the glassed-in porch area. The unit is so close to the marsh that the water and the grasses and the way the sun lights them throughout the day makes you feel like you are on the marsh all the time, not just when we out with the provided kayaks. It has absolutely beautiful marsh sunrises.Seaglass is perfect for a family for teenagers! The kids loved the loft area with its own bath and spiral staircase which makes access much easier. The golf carts were in good shape and provided no issues throughout the stay. Being so close to the market and marina is awesome. We cook almost all our meals at Bald Head. The Seaglass kitchen is, bar none, the best equipped one we have had the pleasure of using on the island. The knives were even sharp (which they haven't been in other places)!We had one very minor maintenance request which was handled promptly. All interactions with rental staff were competent and very friendly.We can't wait to return!

    Seaglass was perfect for our family ( 5 adults & 2 children ) vacation. Centrally located and had everything we needed. Our grandchildren love to fish and crab so the dock was perfect! By far the best view we have ever had on any of our vacations to BHI. Itrip was also very quick to answer any questions I had before and during our stay. Highly recommend!!

    This property is the perfect place for a great time on Bald Head. The unit is located in Timber Creek, which is a great spot for access to everything on the island. The home was in top shape when we arrived, very clean and updated. It has what might be the best setup in the development, both view wise and location wise. The sunroom overlooks the marsh with perfect sight lines across the whole area. You can also see down to the dock, which is great when you have kids fishing and hanging out. We had three kids and a dog with us, and everyone had plenty of space to spread out, but the living area was expansive and provided a great place to come together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. We have stayed all over the island, and have found this area to be the best spot for our family. The two carts provided were in great shape, and the covered one was perfect for the cool mornings and nights. 5 stars across the board, we will definitely be back.
