Sandpiper #602: Beachfront 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom With Spectacular Views and 24 Hour Management

Loved our stay! We had a great view of the beach; sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view. Super clean. Check in and check out was easy. There are chairs down at the end of the boardwalk for guests! Quick walk down the boadwalk to the beach. Lots of amenities (pool, grills, etc). We cooked breakfast (plenty of pans and utensils), though no baking sheets. And could use a sponge in the kitchen to help with cleanup. Overall, fantastic! We will be back again!

Key reader on the front door didn’t work. So after traveling all day we got to enjoy camping out at the front door waiting to have maintenance fix it. He did his best but clearly didn’t have the right equipment to take care of the problem, so every time we left the property it was a roll of the dice if we could get back in. The condo itself was okay. Definitely not as nice as the photos would have you believe. But the entire property felt and looked like a dying mall. In a spiral down, hanging on by a thread. Even though they told us it was a smoke free facility, we were greeted nightly by smokers on the next door balcony, making ours unusable. When we merit to the front desk they just kinda said “oh well”. Definitely wouldn’t recommend or stay here again.

Fantastic property. The condo appeared exactly as listed, with plenty of thoughtful extras. Loved the everchanging views of the water from the super-private balcony. Checkin/checkout was a breeze. The condo was quiet. We didn't hear neighbors or construction. Restaurants, groceries, and things to do were a quick drive away. All-around great weekend getaway!

Beautiful and a great location. The unit has a great view of the beach right off of the balcony. You can watch birds, helicopters go by, shrimp boats, and vehicles driving on the beach. The property staff were super helpful and kind. The beds were very comfortable as well as the living and dining furniture. Suggestions: knives need to be sharpened and then they’ll be good to go. The unit needs a set of oven mitts for when you cook in the condo. The water heater is small so cycling am and pm showers is a good idea. It was a great location just 8 miles in both directions to town. The other guests gave us excellent recommendations for things to do. Mac-Daddy’s had delicious food. Port Aransas is a great beach getaway

The building and condo unit were both fantastic! The condo was clean and beds comfortable. The building offered chair and umbrella placement on the beach for a minimal cost which was really nice as we didn’t have to rush to the beach to reserve our spot. The view from the condo was even better than shown in the picture.

Absolutely lovely condo, very modern and beautifully furnished. From the back balcony the beach is so close you feel as if you can practically touch it. It truly is a beachfront property as stated. There is nothing between the balcony and the beach; it's right there! The Sandpiper property itself is also very, very nice. Everything is clean and tidy and kept up with daily. It's almost like being in a very nice hotel where everyone is always friendly and helpful. It's got a nice pool and jacuzzi, endless complimentary beach towels (next time we know not to bring our own), and the staff is just amazing. You can reserve a big umbrella and nice beach chairs right on the beach. We asked at the front desk and within minutes they radioed the beach staff and our umbrella and chairs were waiting for us when we walked out to the beach (35$ day fee well worth it!). No messing with canopies or chairs; it's all done for you. The condo and overall property is very quiet and peaceful and on a beautiful part of the beach where there isn't a ton of activity or people with fishing rods in the water (last year at a different rental my daughter got tangled in someone's hook). The only negatives: if you like to cook (or drink coffee) the condo kitchen is a bit underwhelming and in desperate need of a Keurig coffee maker, kitchen scissors, and a cookie sheet. Other than that, it was amazing and we plan to book this same condo next year. It's wonderful! We can't wait to be back.

Great overall stay, however it was foggy/overcast most days. But, we still enjoyed our stay!

What a beautiful property! The kitchen was well equipped, loved that towels were replenished, trash bags, dish soap etc were provided. We also enjoyed the puzzles. The staff were very helpful and so friendly. We are definitely coming back.
