Rustic Value Banff Condo with Fireplace!

Hotel was a little outside of town. Our room was right by the front desk so it wasnt a quiet area.Door did not close on its own. Bed was not very comfortable.

The property is cozy and quaint. The area is not in the core of Banff, which I love. Still felt like you were in a little cottage area.

I have stayed here in the past but the unit was really tired and run-down. The walls were paper-thin and every time the upstairs people took a step their floor squeaked and we could hear every word, fart and grunt of our neighbours. We had booked for three nights but left after two to stay someplace else.

The wood fireplace was awesome, though the wood provided was was tough to keep lit (we wondered if the grate was just too high. It was also pretty noisy. We could hear conversations in next room perfectly as our suite was connected with a door to larger space next door. We could also hear steps and sounds from above so it was a little awkward. But over all, lovely spot and great layout. (wish there were better knives in kitchen tho!)

The staff were friendly and did a nice job. The condo was dirty and in poor shape. The view from the condo was not the view we expected from the pictures. The hot tub was dirty and the jets were not working.

The host was very welcoming and the quaint little condo was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay here again!

The unit was as described. It is a well maintained condo with adequate parking. The facilities were in good working order (pool and hot tub) and easy to access. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We have stayed at this location before and will likely stay here again.

Good place to stay then ski at sunshine.

The place was quite nice.

This place is kind of a dump. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything that is happening with the neighbours above. The mattresses suck. They didn't even have a frying pan. At one point a piece of trim fell off the bathroom door in the middle of the night and made a loud bang and woke us all up. Avoid staying here. We ended up leaving a day early and eating the cost because it was so crappy.

We really enjoyed the location liked being outside of the town area. We like the quiet and the privacy. Enjoy the access to the pools, but also enjoyed the on-site pub. The staff who is friendly and very accommodating.

We were warmly welcomed by the front desk personnel. We arrived after 9 pm and the kitchen was able to provided take out food for us to enjoy since it was late. We were grateful for that. We enjoyed the clean pool and hot tubs. I used the exercise facility one morning and was disappointed because it was filthy. The general housekeeping of our condo was good. The condo had all the necessary equipment you would expect and all the equipment worked well. We didn’t request room cleaning service during our stay. The condo was generally “worn” however. The couch was soiled. The main door needed a paint job. The kitchen table was also warn and should be replaced or refinished. The owners of this condo have not properly maintained this unit. Because of that we may return to the facility in the future however we will select a different unit if available that is properly maintained.

Nice place but too small

The property is beautiful overall. Location is great. Both units we had had many repair and maintenance issues that should have been addressed before we arrived. Overall the property needs to be refurbished.

I do not feel this listing represented the condo. It is actually the Banff Rocky Mountain Resort. The photos online do not accurately reflect the rooms. They are outdated which I could live with however they were not clean. The dining room table was sticky and had not been wiped fown. The floors were dirty and I didn't want to walk on them in my bare feet. The room was musty and had a dirty wet mop smell which I think came from the shower curtain which had not been changed in a while. Outside, a guest failed to put a bag of garbage in the bear proof cans and it sat on the ground for 3 days witjout any staff picking it up. The only positive was the ladies in the restaurant and bar and the location.

An apartment great for a small family vacation. While not completely updated, amenities include what you need, and the property was clean. Just outside Banff, it’s a 5 minute drive into town.

The place is located right on the edge of town away from all the hussle and bussle. There is a shuttle to take you downtown if you don't want to park and walk a few blocks. The room was tight for the three of us but we weren't in it much so we made do. Otherwise it was a nice clean cozy place to stay with all the amenities.

The trip was good. I saw mountain.

Our stay was disappointing. The outdoor hot tub was out of order, this was one of the reasons we chose this property and our suite smelled bad of cigarette smoke and stale beer. Our door to the unit would jam and we couldn’t get out. We reported it twice and nothing was done about it. It was a safety hazard.

For the most part it was clean, however the couch is very old and dirty and very uncomfortable to sit on. The carpet could use a good cleaning or be replaced. The bathroom, bedroom were clean and modern.

The actual property we checked into was not the property pictured in the listing. The property was dingy worn and dated

We enjoyed our stay. Banff was amazing. Our lodging was nice. Loved that it had a fire place but the wood we purchased from the front desk must have been new and we were unable to keep it lite. Needs to have more kitchen amenities like a cookie sheet but we still enjoyed our stay. Great location.

The resort was comfortable and accommodating. Shuttle service to downtown area very convenient. Trail system to walk to town easy. We enjoyed our stay. Bonus..a word burning fireplace makes the stay very cozy.

I liked that the property was out of town but still close. Provided easy access to both the Trans-Canada Highway and the Bow Valley Parkway.

Excellent location! Bistro was nice, food very good. Condo was small, could not leave luggage in bedroom . Nice storage area under sink in bath for makeup etc

The property was the perfect size for us. Way too noisy with the guests above us, the metal grate on the road that traffic drove over and the AC did not work.

Property is nice enough. Needs updating. If you get a downstairs unit, be prepared to hear the guest upstairs, every time they walk around. Reception staff was great (Sabrina), bar/waitstaff good. No direct interactions with housekeeping; however, they seemed pleasant and motioned hello when in passing. We would consider staying again as it was nice being outside of town.
