River Retreat Condo: serenity with great view of Neuse River!

We enjothe house and loved playing at the pool, mini golf and play ground.

The condo has a smell and the shower has mold

The condo was so nice and felt private with a wonderful view. Deer everywhere so nice to see wildlife. Dawn was a delight to work with us.

Our second time staying here and the best words to describe it — in addition to all of the 5 stars — is the beauty of the peaceful surroundings overlooking the Neuse River.Thank you!

Stayed several times never disappointed

The condo was well stocked with everything needed for a relaxing getaway! The host provided prompt and accurate communication! We enjoyed the beautiful views and watching the wildlife! We highly recommend staying at the River Retreat Condo!!!!

It was such a cute condo with an amazing view. Dawn was so communicative during our stay to make sure we had what we needed and all was ok. Will definitely stay here again.

This is truly a slice of heaven and I will be back. Dawn made the entire booking/checkin/checkout processes seamless. She’s definitely a 5 star host! Her condo is even nicer than advertised on VRBO - the only surprises were nice ones. And the wildlife in the area was amazing. We saw a BEAR. He just rambled across the road into the nearby blueberry farm. Amazing! Three deer and a bunny came by most mornings and evenings to graze out back and the birds in the marsh!!! Dawn even supplied binoculars for viewing them.

Very enjoyable location, unit, and neighbors. Clean and fun indoor/outdoor community pool and kind staff to match. The putt-putt was well designed and unique.The unit itself is well stocked with appliances, such as a blender, and also it had a range of DVDs and books available. The unit was very clean upon arrival. The beds — comfortable. Dawn, the host, has great communication. She granted us a stay with two dogs and it worked out very well. Excellent view for book reading and a quiet remote location yet relatively close to New Bern.

We loved New Bern

This is one of the very best VRBOs we have experienced! So very clean, beautiful setting on river / ocean marsh with sweet deer, bunnies, and interesting and meditative critter sounds. Very comfortable bed and seating area. Nice kitchen with the needful. Close to New Bern. Dawn is a fun and helpful host. She also shared passes to the recreative center that included classes, weight rooms and pools. We wish we could stay a week!

I stayed at Dawns beautiful condo for 2 weeks! What a gorgeous place! It is serene and the views of the marsh are wonderful. The condo was clean and had anything I might have needed. The check in and check out were seamless and Dawn was a wonderful host! I will definitely be back to visit!!
