Rancho Las Palmas Desert Retreat on Golf Course

Can't say enough about how much we loved our two month stay in Karen's condo. We enjoyed every minute here, from a well equipped kitchen (cooked most of our own meals) to the cozy living room, comfortable beds and access to a heated pool a few steps from the condo. Booking with a super host which Karen certainly is as she had all the basic toiletries, well equipped kitchen and paper products including paper plates, napkins, plastic cutlery and even dixie cups for the pool. We were impressed and will be back.

The Rancho Las Palmas Condo was better than stated on VRBO. The kitchen was fully provided with all the cooking utensils we needed. The owner left a file of things to do and places to dine. Saying the owner was organized is a gross understatement. Any question that could have popped-up was already written on their information sheet. And the location was purrrfect right on the golf course mid-way between the “tee” and green, like being on the 50-yard line. I shouldn’t give such a good review as we plan to return and anyone reading this will be our competition for our next visit.

We had a great stay. The condo was extremely well stocked, clean, and in a great location. We enjoyed the area including the pools, tennis, and neighborhood for walks. Very convenient to everything. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Will stay there again.

Very nice home

Thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at Karen's home. Having stayed at many, many places - this home is thoughtfully decorated and absolutely gorgeous - waaaay better than what you'll normally find. Everything from a nice wine glass in the cupboard to beautiful bedding is well considered and placed for the enjoyment of the guest. Little touches like a well stocked coffee system and drinks in the frig made us feel welcome. The photos are very accurate, if anything - there is even more light in the space than you would imagine because there is a huge skylight in the master bath, and clerestory windows across the top of the living space. An interior patio is a nice touch, plus the living room and kitchen have huge windows looking out across the golf course. Super quiet, great sleep arrangements. Comfy felt like new bed. Lots of closet space, all clear and clean - was easy to stay for a longer trip. Kitchen was very well equipped, and with a Whole Foods nearby we made breakfast and snacks and went out to the many, many restaurants nearby. Most have patio seating and good outdoor options. I would give this property 5star plus if I could. Thanks again for making it so nice for us. Massively appreciated.
